Mountain Village Hotel Hakuba Hifumi

It’s been eight years since our last stay, and this was our first visit back in a while. We returned because it’s one of our favorites, but here are a few things we noticed for next time:- We would like one more face towel at the washbasin in the Room, since two of us are staying.- Toiletries such as lotion are provided, but my wife said she would like emulsion/moisturizer as well.- A few dishes tasted quite salty to us—such as the breakfast soup, grilled salmon, and pickles. We had heard that Nagano Prefecture has been reducing salt recently.Despite these comments, this remains our favorite Accommodation thanks to the excellent hospitality of the staff. Thank you for taking care of us. We will visit again.

I visited this accommodation last February, and it remains one of my favorite places to relax no matter how many times I come. While the view is not particularly remarkable, I could see snow-covered Hakuba and a beautiful sunrise. The onsen, known as "beauty skin water," left my skin smooth and hydrated—absolutely wonderful. The meals were perfectly portioned—not too much—and incredibly delicious. The Mont Blanc dessert was exceptional as well. Breakfast was also thoughtfully prepared with just the right amount of food. I look forward to visiting again after the busy ski season ends.
