    The bath was excellent!

    The Onsen was a blessing for my tired body after sightseeing. Unfortunately, there was only one towel provided, and the small towel was thin and not absorbent, making it difficult to use. The plastic bag labeled for towels to take to the Onsen was too small to fit a bath towel, so I ended up carrying it by hand. Changing clothes also posed some inconvenience due to this. Other than that, the breakfast was very delicious, everything was clean, and the location of the Hotel is excellent!

    I was able to relax in the Onsen.

    There are many Hotels and accommodations around Kyoto Station, and I was unsure which to choose, but I was drawn to the Onsen large bath and decided to stay here. As a result, I think it was a very good choice. The entire Hotel was compact, well-organized, and had a clean atmosphere. The Japanese-Western style Room with tatami, the Onsen, and the Japanese breakfast provided a relaxing and comfortable experience. As a base for sightseeing, I was grateful that they carefully stored my luggage even after check-out. Some of the small details I appreciated were the availability of facial and hand soap in addition to individually wrapped bar soap, and the fact that the slippers were not disposable. In contrast, other Hotels I recently stayed at, while luxurious, only provided bar soap and disposable slippers, leaving me with the dilemma of either disposing of usable items or taking them home despite hygiene concerns. From an SDGs perspective, this was reassuring. If I had to point out anything, it would be that breakfast service ended at 9:00 AM and the Onsen closed at 9:30 AM, so I felt that having an extra 30 minutes would have allowed for a more leisurely experience. Additionally, I personally found it slightly bothersome to move the noren curtain in front of the restroom area in the lobby. In the photos, the Room's shoji screens were closed, so I couldn't tell what it looked like, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that despite being in the city, I could see the outside scenery and also use the roller blinds. Overall, it was a calm and relaxing Hotel that I would like to revisit.

    The Onsen is excellent.

    It's a bit of a walk from the station, but it's a hotel where you can relax with an Onsen. I like the quality of the spring.

    Wheelchair Accessible

    There are not many properties where you can stay with a wheelchair, but I happened to find this one and was able to stay. My child cannot stand and lives in a wheelchair except when sleeping. The room was spacious enough for a wheelchair to turn around, and the wheelchair could go right up to the side of the bed. The toilet and washbasin were also spacious enough for a wheelchair. Although it was difficult to assist in the bath with just one person, we were able to use a washbasin that was kindly provided, allowing us to clean up. Thank you for promptly providing the washbasin. Due to security reasons, when using the elevator and room card key, my son, who has difficulty using his hands and cannot grasp objects, had trouble when going to the first floor to smoke alone. If he dropped the card, he couldn't pick it up, so it would be helpful if there was a way for wheelchair users to hang it around their neck. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

    Onsen in Kyoto

    A rare Onsen Hotel in the center of Kyoto. The meals are also creatively utilizing the Onsen, which is a great effort to differentiate.

    The onsen flowing directly into the room is wonderful.

    I didn't expect much from an Onsen in the middle of Kyoto, but the Room's private Onsen exceeded my expectations and was really great. It was slightly viscous, and the bathtub was spacious enough for two adults to stretch their legs. I was impressed by the Onsen overflowing from the tub. I also used the large public bath, which seemed to have a circulation filtration system, as there was a slight chlorine smell. However, the changing room was frequently cleaned and very clean. The Room was also clean, spacious, and comfortable. The service was good, and they even extended our checkout. It would be even better if they provided two bath towels per person in the special Room (this time, they brought them immediately upon request). Thank you very much.

    Use from New Year's Eve

    I stayed for one night from December 31st to January 1st. The service from check-in was very pleasant. The room was a tatami-floored double bed, not spacious but clean and satisfactory. There was an Onsen, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath. Breakfast included New Year's dishes and ozoni, which were delicious. The Hotel itself is not large, but it was clean and the service was pleasant. I would like to stay again.

    Kyoto Tower from the Room

    The room had a view of Kyoto Tower. The night illumination was beautiful. The onsen bath in the room was excellent. The meals were also very delicious. It was a property I would like to visit again for a relaxing stay.

    This is the best Hotel.

    Thank you for your hospitality. A trip to Kyoto with my grandchild Having an onsen near the station was fantastic. I definitely want to stay again when I visit Kyoto.

    It was comfortable.

    Conveniently located near the station. You can enjoy the onsen, and the security is reassuring, so I use it often. I usually stay in a Japanese-Western style room for comfort, but this time there were no vacancies, so I stayed in a twin room, which was more comfortable than I expected with a relaxing space. However, it was unfortunate that the mirror on the dresser was broken. Recently, the large public bath has been crowded, and there were times when I had to leave quickly, but this time, by chance, it was almost like a private bath, and I was able to relax both at night and in the morning, which was wonderful. I wanted to have the yudofu for breakfast, but it was already full, so I couldn't have it, which was disappointing. I would like to stay again next time with breakfast included.

    It was a wonderful trip.

    I suddenly thought of it and made a reservation for a stay at the beginning of the year. There were no spacious rooms available, and it felt a bit cramped for four adults. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious. I would have been happier if the café had stayed open a little later.

    New Year's Stays & Celebrations

    The proximity to the station and the ability to enjoy the onsen are wonderful aspects of this Stays, but the cuisine was not very elaborate, and many of the breakfast items were cold and did not suit my taste. I used a special Room, but there were not enough towels, and some areas were not thoroughly cleaned. Most disappointingly, despite repeatedly requesting consideration in advance by phone due to visiting in a wheelchair, there was no caregiving chair in the bath attached to the Room until requested on the day, and after check-in, I was disappointed with the guidance to proceed to the Room on my own.

    Stay on New Year's Day!

    I stayed on New Year's Day 2025. The special New Year's kaiseki cuisine was all delicious. The staff were busy, but they helped with the surprise birthday cake presentation. They also expedited the meal service so we could go up Kyoto Tower at night and answered our questions about the dishes politely. The onsen was pleasant, and I felt my tired body recover. It would have been even better if the dressing room in the morning was a bit warmer. The location is in the city center, so it's not very spacious, but the interior was very clean and comfortable. It became a trip that will remain a lifelong memory. Thank you very much!!

    The location was convenient, and I had a peaceful stay.

    I used it on my birthday as a reward for myself. Since it is close to the station, it was very convenient for going to various places such as Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Also, being near the site of the last residence of the Shinsengumi in the city, I was extremely excited as a history enthusiast. I reminisced about Akechi Mitsuhide in Kameoka, passed through the Hozu River, and leisurely enjoyed Kyoto while strolling through the Okochi Sanso Garden in Ogurayama and Arashiyama. The Hotel was calm, and both the bath and meals were very good. I had a great day. Thank you very much.

    Why is our table different from the other tables?

    We used the largest special Room for 6 adults and 1 child. It was a Plan with dinner included, but for some reason, our table only had 3 pieces of fish in the pot... On our way out, we saw another table with about 10 pieces on the plate. I checked the site to see if it was a different dinner Plan, but there was only an option to request dinner or a Room type with dinner included, and the meal details were not listed. Since it was a trip with my parents, it was not as luxurious as I imagined. I usually expect meat as the main dish for dinner, but there wasn't even a meat dish. The Room amenities were also not enough for the number of people, and the phone number for the front desk was not listed in the Room, so honestly, there were many disappointing aspects.

    Family trip

    We stayed for two nights for a trip to Kyoto with my elderly uncle and aunt. We chose this property because it was close to the station and had an onsen. The onsen was very nice, and we were satisfied with our stay. The room's bath was also an onsen, allowing us to relax and enjoy a leisurely soak, which was great. Unfortunately, only two sets of towels were prepared for our group of four. We contacted the staff and they brought more, but the response was disappointing. Since the room came with Imabari towels, we expected the additional towels to be the same, but they brought different ones and commented, "We can't provide Imabari towels for additional requests." After explaining the situation, we received the Imabari towels. I couldn't agree with the comment, "We can't provide Imabari towels for additional requests," but when we requested more towels the next day, they provided Imabari towels without any comment. Which response was correct? Since the room has an onsen, it would be nice if they could initially set up twice the number of towels as the number of guests. Despite the small trouble, overall, it was a good experience, and I would like to use this property again.

    Air conditioning and insects

    - The air conditioning seemed to be broken. It was very cold and dry. It was cold when turned off. 24 degrees heating was cold. 25 degrees was slightly cold. 26 degrees was too hot. - The tatami mats did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned. Black socks turned completely white. While sleeping in the bed, I got bitten in three places on my backside. It was terrifying, and I couldn't sleep after 4 AM.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near Kyoto Station with many dining options nearby. The breakfast hot pot with yuba was delicious and made us feel truly happy. My friend also praised it highly. If I have the chance, I would love to stay at this Ryokan again.

    Family Trip

    It was a satisfying stay. The staff service was courteous, and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The onsen (large public bath) was also satisfying. Since it was a stay for three people with a child, it would have been nice if the room was a bit larger. But it didn't bother me.
