Stayed here during a trip from a neighboring prefecture and thoroughly enjoyed the "Shinshu experience" I had imagined. The meals were served in a completely private room, allowing us to savor Shinshu's local ingredients in peace and quiet, which was incredibly satisfying. The staff provided warm and friendly service, reminiscent of the local hospitality, which added to the pleasant experience. From the guest room to the lobby service and even the morning matcha tea offering, everything was impeccable and left me fully satisfied. As for the Onsen facilities, I only used the open-air bath in my room and did not try out the public bath area. Compared to another hotel by Lake Suwa where I stayed previously with exceptional water quality, this Onsen felt slightly less impressive (hence minus one point). I would love to visit again—thank you very much!
