Hotel New Otani Saga

The Room size, service, and spacious bath all made for a luxurious stay. It was very comfortable, and I will stay again.

I stayed for two nights while sightseeing. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the station, mostly straight along a main road. By taxi, it’s within 10 minutes. If the weather is nice, the walk is pleasant with shops along the way, and strolling around the moat feels great. The Hotel shows its age in places, but it’s clean, the air conditioning works well, and the moat view from the window is amazing. It’s refreshing to wake up in the morning.The Room has a full-length mirror that you can move by the window to do your makeup. The bathroom had a Mirable shower head, and the hair dryer was also a good one.Everyone at the Hotel was very kind, so I could stay comfortably. However, there isn’t a convenience store nearby. Instead, there’s a supermarket and Starbucks about a 5-minute walk away.It’s not right by the station, but with relaxed morning walks, great views, and comfortable Rooms, this is a Hotel I’d like to stay at again next time. There are many good restaurants nearby as well—but next time I’d like to dine inside the Hotel too…
