    Dinner is an issue.

    The café and restaurant serving Western-style dinner were not available, and the Chinese and Japanese restaurants on the third floor only offered expensive course meals starting at around 16,000 yen, which was inconvenient for guests. The speakerphone was not functioning well, and the facility overall felt lacking. However, additional lighting was provided promptly, making the room very bright. The room itself was spacious and comfortable but did not have a coffee machine (which I personally didn’t need). There was also no turndown service. On a positive note, the front desk staff were pleasant, and the taxi to the airport was a luxury car, reflecting a first-class hotel experience in that regard.

    This was my first vi...

    This was my first visit since the COVID-19 pandemic, and the pleasant lobby with gentle sunlight streaming in was just as it used to be. The staff at the front desk were friendly yet courteous, allowing my husband and me to enjoy a relaxing stay. Although many years have passed since our first visit, the place remains clean and well-maintained, which impressed us. Thanks to this, we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

    Playful Spirit of Osaka

    Last year, I stayed at the Westin in Kyoto, so I chose the Westin for my stay in Osaka as well. The hoteliers were very attentive, always sensing the guests' needs during cloak service before check-in, at check-in, and during check-out. There was a shuttle between Osaka Station and the Property, but it was also within walking distance. If you don't have a lot of luggage, it's a walkable distance. Thanks to the membership benefits, I was upgraded to a Room with a view overlooking the area around the station. At night, the night view was beautiful, so I turned off the indoor lights and enjoyed the scenery. This time, I didn't bring sneakers, so I couldn't go to the fitness center, but I wanted to move my body in the Room, so I borrowed a yoga mat. The yellow yoga mat had a tiger on its edge! Even though it was an international Hotel, the local-themed item made my husband and me feel like we were truly in Osaka. It was a memorable stay.

    It was my first stay.

    I stayed for the first time and used the club lounge. The afternoon had a variety of sweets, which was nice, but I felt that the evening had a limited selection of alcohol. The bed in the room I stayed in was comfortable, and I slept soundly.

    It was a good Hotel for sightseeing in Osaka.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. This was our first time using the property, and we stayed after a live event in Osaka with our family of four. 【Room & Amenities】 Since we were a family of four, we used a connecting room, utilizing a corner suite and a deluxe room as one. Indeed, it was a spacious room of 100 square meters, but the layout was a bit unusual, so it didn't feel like 100 square meters. The corner suite with a king bed was spacious and comfortable. The deluxe twin was a slightly larger twin room. 【Service】 From the bellboy to the guide, we received excellent service, and the hospitality was commendable. 【Onsen & Bath】 The room's bath had a bathtub and a shower room, which was convenient, but the water pressure was low, and it took time to fill the bathtub. When filling the bathtub, the shower's water pressure was low, which was unsatisfactory. I would like to request an improvement here. 【Facility】 Since it has been over 30 years since the opening in June 1993, there are places where you can feel the age, such as slow elevators and difficult-to-understand routes from the parking lot to the front desk, which are inconvenient. 【Dining】 The breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety, and it was delicious. Although it can't be helped since the operating hours are until 10:30, I felt a bit rushed as the cleanup started around 10:15 while we were still eating. 【Satisfaction】 Considering the price, it seems a bit expensive, but there are many good points, such as being close to Osaka Station and the service allowing guests to repeatedly enter and exit the parking lot. We plan to visit again with our family in April.

    I was able to relax.

    I used it about three months ago and liked the calm atmosphere, so I used it during the New Year's holiday. I chose a Plan with a lounge, and I would like to stay with the same Plan next time.

    Check-in Time

    Check-in was delayed by an hour from the scheduled time. The in-room amenities have significantly downgraded compared to before, with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap being fixed in the shower room only (just like a Business Hotel), and not available in the main bathtub, which is very inconvenient. The club lounge has less than half the number of seats compared to before, and during certain times, there is a wait of over an hour (defeating the purpose of a lounge). The aperitif has also significantly downgraded compared to before.

    The satisfaction with breakfast is amazing.

    I stayed with my daughter. We had dinner outside, but the highlight was breakfast. It was a buffet style, starting with a wide variety of egg dishes, followed by white rice, porridge, mixed rice, and different types of bread. There were also Osaka soul foods like takoyaki, kushikatsu, and udon. With couscous and green curry, my stomach just couldn't keep up! It's a pity I couldn't try everything. I can't forget how unexpectedly delicious the French toast was. I was very satisfied. However, we had to wait for breakfast and the lounge. That was a bit disappointing.

    I may have had too high expectations.

    This time, we splurged on the club floor of the Westin for our wedding anniversary. Overall, it was of course good, but considering the price, there were some slightly disappointing aspects. The biggest gap with expectations was during the evening cocktail time, where the snacks seemed limited. Compared to the cocktail times at other hotel club floors, I felt it was a 2-3 on a 5-point scale. The cocktail times at the club floors of Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton, Prince, and Nikko are all rated 4 or above. On the other hand, breakfast was somewhat satisfying, with a rating of 3+. I thought that even without the club floor, a deluxe twin with breakfast included would be good at this hotel.

    A hotel full of hospitality

    We recently stayed at this Hotel, which holds memories of my late father, as a birthday gift for my mother. We received various advice from the Reservation stage, and decided to prepare a surprise cake. My mother was delighted with this surprise, and it added even more wonderful memories. Since it is a bit away from the city center, we were able to spend our time quietly and leisurely. There is a shuttle bus, but it was also helpful that the distance was walkable for a nice stroll. There was a Christmas event happening right outside the Hotel, which was enjoyable. We definitely plan to continue using this as our regular Stays. Thank you very much.

    The lounge was disappointing.

    This is my second time using the service. I was looking forward to relaxing in the lounge recently, so I chose the Executive Stay Plan, but the lounge was crowded, and I had to wait in the Room for a while. With a 50-minute time limit, I couldn't enjoy it leisurely. Was it because the Hotel is relatively small, or was it just coincidentally crowded? The guest Room and the staff's service were excellent, which made the lounge experience disappointing.

    It was comfortable in the renovated Room.

    As an IKYU member, I was upgraded to a better Room. The renovated Room felt more comfortable than before. The TV screen was larger and easier to watch. I changed breakfast to room service, and the content had improved compared to before, which was very satisfying. Although I had a comfortable stay, it was disappointing that the quality of amenities had decreased and the price had increased.

    The room was nice, but...

    I had previously used the dining and lounge services, but this was my first time staying overnight. The hotel staff were all very accommodating, and the room was clean. After checking out, I left my car and used the shuttle bus to Umeda. The road to Umeda was a bit congested, but I finished my errands and headed back to the hotel bus stop. The traffic was quite heavy, and although the buses are supposed to come every 30 minutes, it took a while for one to arrive. I could have walked back to the hotel, but since it was raining, I patiently waited for the bus for 30 minutes. When it finally arrived and I got on, the driver repeatedly glared at the passengers and loudly warned, "I don't know when we'll arrive! It's faster to get off and walk!" With each shout, one group after another got off the bus, even families with small children. I understood that the driver was trying to avoid complaints about the delay due to traffic, and since I wasn't in a hurry, I stayed on the bus. Eventually, we departed with only seven passengers left from a full bus. I understand the driver was trying to avoid complaints about the delay, but it didn't leave a good impression.

    I visited with my mother. I have used this place before and am a repeat customer. We booked a plan that allowed us to use the lounge, and the lounge was very convenient and easy to use. The room was spacious, and we enjoyed it to the fullest.

    First stay

    I stayed for the first time. The room was spacious, and the Heavenly Bed was comfortable, allowing me to relax greatly. Although the number of food items and types of alcohol during the afternoon and cocktail time at the Executive Lounge was limited, the taste was delicious and satisfying. However, since guests on the Executive Floor also needed to check in at the front desk, I thought it would be better if there was a dedicated check-in counter.

    For a change of pace

    I had been busy with my father's hospital admissions and discharges, so we decided to take a short trip nearby for a change of pace, bringing my parents and family along. The room was comfortable and cozy, but my father mentioned he wanted to enjoy a good view while having coffee and dessert, so we arranged to use the executive lounge after checking in. The location was great for strolling, and we all had a wonderful time visiting a sushi restaurant we had been curious about and taking a walk in the Grand Green. The breakfast exceeded our expectations in taste, and the attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Thank you very much.
