We have renovated a traditional "Kyo-machiya" that still remains in Kyoto. You can stay in this historic townhouse and experience a simulated lifestyle in Kyoto. This Property is the fourth dog-friendly Kyo-machiya in our series. We collaborated with companies that support our mission of "preserving machiya and Kyoto's landscape." The noren curtain was specially crafted using denim fabric from Okayama Prefecture by "CEUEU," and the furniture features products from the Italian furniture brand "Kartell." While the exterior retains the traditional look of a Kyo-machiya, the interior is modern and stylish, inspired by the image of a highland villa, offering a comfortable and chic Kyo-machiya experience. Please enjoy the charming streets of Kyoto with your beloved dog.

"Suzu Hanayacho Asagiri," an eight-unit Property, is located in a quiet residential area near Shimabara Omon, reminiscent of the historic geisha district, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Nishi Honganji Temple. Each unit is a private space, offering the entire house for your exclusive use. The exterior features traditional Kyoto machiya elements such as latticework and bamboo blinds, while the interior includes an open-air bath and an engawa (veranda) where you can enjoy views of the tsuboniwa (courtyard garden) while soaking in the tub. The bathroom is also equipped with a rain shower, allowing you to indulge in a luxurious bathing experience. Each machiya is furnished with a washing machine, microwave, and a simple kitchen, making it convenient for a Multiple Night Stay. Each unit is uniquely designed, offering a Kyoto travel experience that touches upon delicate and rich sensibilities.

We have renovated the remaining 'Kyomachiya' in Kyoto, which are gradually decreasing over time. You can experience living in Kyoto by staying in this historic property. Additionally, at 'Kyoiroiriyado Some SEN,' we provide a traditional hearth as the name suggests. For the purpose of preserving the property, we use an electric hearth instead of fire. Please enjoy this warm and nostalgic space.

Nestled in a narrow alley near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nishi Honganji Temple, "Suzu Tsukinuke" offers a unique stay. The name "Tsukinuke-cho," which is also part of the facility's name, originates from the time when Toyotomi Hideyoshi created a thoroughfare connecting Kamigyo and Shimogyo, leading to the establishment of this town. During that era, Shimogyo was a bustling commercial district for commoners, while Kamigyo was home to affluent residences. The first floor represents Shimogyo with an inviting green-themed interior showcasing craftsmen's tools and traditional crafts to reflect its artisan roots. The second floor represents Kamigyo with an elegant design featuring dark brown tones accented by purple bed throws inspired by silver folding screens, evoking the grandeur of noble residences. At this facility that recreates Tsukinuke’s history, guests can enjoy two distinct Japanese atmospheres within one townhouse.
