This is an in-town retreat—not for showing off to others, but for reconsidering your connection with yourself and the place, and for letting sensory, poetic feelings quietly mature.In other words, this is not a luxury Facility: there are no lavish meals or staffed services. There is no TV in the Room. And because we have preserved the structure of a Showa-era house, it may be somewhat less comfortable or insulated than modern homes. There is no breathtaking ocean view.We would be glad if you choose this place as somewhere to spend cradle-like hours—soaking in the afterglow of your journey, or resting right in its midst.
