In the hinoki bath made from Kiso cypress, you can enjoy free-flowing natural hot spring water drawn from the mountains. The approx. 450 m² garden features local plants that bud and change with the seasons, and you can feel these transitions from the living room. At night, a star-filled sky spreads across the clear air, bringing a stillness far from everyday life. In the morning, we offer a light breakfast featuring freshly grated wasabi. Although winters are severe in this area, a pellet stove like a fireplace is installed for comfortable stays even in autumn and winter. Daio Wasabi Farm and the Azumino Chihiro Art Museum are about 15 minutes away by car. The nearest ski resort is Jiigatake Ski Resort—ideal for beginners and families—about 30 minutes away by car. Hakuba, Kurobe, Kamikochi, and Matsumoto are all within about an hour’s drive.
