Ryosoku Station Stop × Highly rated facilities at Hotel·Ryokan

I visit Kochi about twice a year, and this was my first time staying at the Comfort Hotel. The front desk staff, breakfast, and bed were all excellent, and I don’t think there are many Hotels that offer this level of service at this price. The on-site parking was full, but there were several affiliated parking lots nearby, which was very helpful. It would be perfect if in-and-out access for cars were included at this price, but I understand that’s difficult. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I’d love to stay again.

The check-in staff were very welcoming, and our stay started off on a great note! The Room was spotless, and the dinner and breakfast were so delicious they truly impressed us—making it an amazing time. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Thank you for taking care of us during our summer trip to Shikoku. Before dinner, we were able to watch a live demonstration of straw-seared bonito, and it was truly delicious. The bath was also spacious and very relaxing. We didn’t know until we arrived, but this is a historic and prestigious Accommodation, and every staff member who assisted us was courteous and attentive. We booked the guided walking stay Plan, and the next day we visited ponds associated with Ryoma Sakamoto while walking. The explanations were thorough, making it a truly memorable experience.

A reliably great Dormy Inn. It was crowded, but I still enjoyed the large public bath, the complimentary ice cream, and the late-night soba. However, it might be a bit far to walk from the station.

A bit away from the downtown area, but with a large public bath and breakfast included, I was very satisfied with the price. The only reasons I didn’t give a perfect score were that the loungewear felt a bit stiff and uncomfortable, the in-Room toilet felt cheap, and there was no black tea at breakfast.

I booked the No Meals Included plan to visit Hirome Market the next day, and it was a great value—the Room was spacious and clean, and the Onsen was excellent. It’s about a 15-minute drive to Cerise. The parking lot is free and spacious, and next time I’d like to stay with meals included and relax.

The twin Room was spacious, clean, and flawless. The mattress felt a bit old-fashioned, but I slept well. The shampoo and other amenities smelled wonderful—easily the best among my recent Hotel stays. The breakfast buffet was also amazing. I topped my waffle with whipped cream and maple syrup, and there were plenty of sushi (including temari sushi) and other Japanese dishes too—I wished I had saved more room beforehand. After finishing, I noticed there were puddings and smoothies at the counter, but I had already left my seat so I had to give them up reluctantly. They also lent us rental bicycles on both days, which was a huge help in the heat. Thank you very much. I’ll definitely stay again!

It was better than I expected. The Room was spacious and clean, and I had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I was satisfied. There was only one trash bin in the Room, so I thought it would be nice to have another one near the sink.

This was my second stay since the Accommodation first opened. I chose it for its great location right by the station and because I wanted to have the straw-grilled bonito for breakfast. I was very satisfied. I will stay here again.

We stayed here for my daughter’s open campus visit, and the Room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was even better than expected—beautifully presented and delicious. If she takes the entrance exam, we would like to stay here again.

Although this was a last-minute stay, the staff’s support was excellent, and we were able to enjoy our time comfortably. The Room felt very clean, making for a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

I stayed for four nights, and the Hotel was clean, the Room was spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. I also appreciated that the bathtub was a bit larger than usual. The Millet snacks I received when I opted out of housekeeping were a nice touch as well. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kochi. Thank you very much.

I was very satisfied. The welcome drink, the large public bath, breakfast, and the hospitality from the front desk staff were all excellent. The bunk bed would be fine if you’re younger, but for me the steep ladder was a little scary. Both my husband and I slept very well—maybe the pillows suited us. Thank you very much.

A long-established Ryokan in central Kochi City where you can enjoy a natural Onsen. The property also displays materials that let you learn about Kochi Castle and the history of the Yamauchi clan, offering not only relaxation but also discovery. The hospitality from all staff is exceptional.

This was my second stay, following last year. I arrived by car, and the affiliated parking lot nearby was very convenient. Even though it was a busy time for check-in, there were plenty of counters and the process went smoothly. After checking in, I explored the nearby shopping arcade and Hirome Market on foot. There were also many restaurants close by, so dinner was great. The next morning, I enjoyed an approximately 10 km run while sightseeing around Kochi Station, Kochi Castle, and the shopping streets. The breakfast buffet was outstanding—an incredible variety and all delicious. Everything was excellent, from rice topped with bonito flakes or bonito broth to seared bonito (katsuo tataki), salads, simmered dishes, fried items, and stir-fries. I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the chance.

It was very clean and had everything we needed. I was surprised that a simple breakfast was included at this price. The location is excellent. Kochi Station, restaurants, a supermarket, convenience stores, and coin-operated parking are all nearby. We used a coin parking lot about 200 m away along the river that cost 450 yen per 24 hours. The Hotel’s coin laundry is also a great deal at 200 yen per wash. One downside is the dryer. Since it’s electric, it doesn’t dry very well. Fortunately, there’s a coin laundry close by with gas dryers, so we washed at the Hotel and dried our clothes there. It’s an Accommodation I’d definitely like to stay at again when visiting Kochi.

I stayed here while visiting Kochi to see a friend. I went out right after checking in and didn’t return until after 11:00 p.m., so my stay ended up being very short. The queen Room with a kitchen isn’t large, but it was very stylish and practical. I wished I could have stayed longer. Although I didn’t have time to use it, I couldn’t find any kitchen utensils. When I asked at check-out, I was told they were in the cabinet. Thinking “It must be here,” I tried many times to open that cabinet drawer, but couldn’t (lol). If I had wanted to use the kitchen, it would have been really disappointing, so some guidance would have been helpful. The front desk staff were very pleasant both at check-in and check-out. If I visit Kochi again, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel. Next time, I want to try opening that cabinet (lol).

It’s located past the hospital from Kochibashi Bridge. It’s also within walking distance from the station. The Room was clean and comfortable. There is also a large public bath, and I really appreciated being able to soak in it after walking a lot. The staff were friendly and welcoming.\nSince I stayed for two nights, the breakfast menu changed, which made it easy to enjoy. People of a wide range of ages—from younger staff to more experienced seniors—were working there, and everyone carried out their roles properly.\nIf I have the chance to visit Kochi again, I’d like to stay here again.

There are not many staff members, but it was easy to see which services they focus on, and I felt it is a comfortable and welcoming Hotel. The fresh flowers next to the elevator were very soothing. The Room was spacious and clean, and there was a water dispenser in the hallway where you can enjoy delicious cold water. The bath is an Onsen with plenty of space to relax, and breakfast in the morning was exceptionally delicious. I wanted to thank you in person for the wonderful breakfast, but our timing didn’t match. It helped me recover from my fatigue and left me feeling refreshed and energized.

I was able to board the train on time while it was stopped en route to Tokyo Station, and I arrived at Kochi Station on schedule. Thank you for picking me up at Kochi Station. I was able to relax in the large public bath. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Thank you as well for taking me to Kochi Station in the rain in the morning.
