Our family of six stayed for two nights (Multiple Night Stay). The building itself feels a bit old-fashioned, but it was kept very clean. Above all, the meals were incredibly delicious and truly impressed us. We’re sorry we couldn’t finish everything on the first day. On the second day, the menu was different, and we managed to finish it all. It was genuinely wonderful. Whenever we visit Nanyo or Kochi again, we would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

I stayed here last week for diving, and this time for snorkeling. Two washing machines and two dryers are available free of charge. (This time, one dryer was out of order.) If the previous guest hasn’t removed their laundry, the front desk will handle it promptly. Being able to wash marine gear right away is the best part. Marine equipment can also be rinsed at the outdoor washing area and dried on the clotheslines, which was very helpful. My child especially liked being able to choose one complimentary item at check-in—water, ice cream, or a cup of instant noodles—and the free drinks on the first floor until 9:00 PM. Breakfast was delicious and more than we could finish.

We stayed here with our two children on the way back from Kashiwajima. The staff’s explanations were very thorough, the meals were delicious and more than we could finish, and the Facility was clean—our kids were thrilled with the bunk beds. The nearby Onsen in the adjoining facility was also excellent, and we appreciated receiving stylish amenities. Occasionally small ants came in, but that seems unavoidable with glamping. We’d love to stay again.

Although the weather felt like the rainy season had returned, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the observation room (Gekko). Because the building is located on a hill, we had a clear view of the Shimanto River and the surrounding mountains. The Onsen water was excellent, with a slightly silky texture. For dinner we chose Sawachi cuisine featuring local dishes, and this time it was served as individual small plates rather than one large platter. Overall, I think it was a truly wonderful Accommodation. However, please drive carefully—the Accommodation is reached only after an extremely winding mountain road (narrow roads). Also, although it looks like it’s only about 5 minutes to town (convenience stores, etc.) on the map, as mentioned above it’s up in the mountains, so at night it’s pitch-dark and very dangerous! If you want to bring alcohol or cigarettes (the smoking area is outside the building), I recommend buying them before check-in. One more thing: they lend you samue loungewear, and it was made from incredibly comfortable fabric—perfect to wear. (If they sold it, I definitely would have bought it! It really was that comfortable.) I’ve stayed at several places near the Shimanto River before, and I can genuinely recommend this one. Lastly, thank you very much to all of the staff.
