In October 2019, at Japan's oldest Dogo Onsen, we proudly opened as Japan's latest environmentally friendly ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building) Hotel. With the concept of "kindness to people and the environment," we offer the relaxation of an Onsen inn and the comfort of a Hotel stay. Facing the symbol of this area, the "Dogo Onsen Honkan," enjoy the spectacular view of Matsuyama's castle town from our Onsen large public bath. A traditional Japanese Ryokan, Dogo-kan, designed by renowned Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa, harmoniously blends the charm of the Edo period with modern aesthetics. Located on a hill in the Dogo Onsen area, it offers a view of Matsuyama Castle from its west-facing windows. Guests can enjoy various bathing facilities such as cascading baths, reclining baths, and open-air baths in the large communal bath area, along with meticulous hospitality.

A conveniently located Hotel just about a 1-minute walk from the city tram (streetcar) "Okaido Station." Perfectly situated for sightseeing, including Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen. It is also close to the prefectural office and city hall, making it a convenient base for business. The spacious bathing area features five types of baths, alternating between men and women in the morning and evening. Every guest room features an open-air Onsen bath, where you can enjoy the gentle feel of the water.Please note that this Accommodation differs from a typical Ryokan or a Hotel focused primarily on overnight stays. Within its time-honored sukiya-style architecture, each Room features an indoor hot-spring bath made of Koya-maki cypress. Meals are served in your Room by dedicated attendants, allowing you to savor the flavors of Iyo at a relaxed pace. We offer Hinoki wooden baths in all rooms, using water drawn from the Dogo Onsen. Each villa is named after a type of hardwood traditionally used in Japan, such as Yamaboshi, Hanamizuki, and Kunugi.
