Takada Station (Kagawa) × Stays With Popular VillasHighly rated Hotel·Ryokan

Art throughout and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The craftsmanship of the house, the furniture—everything shows true attention to detail. And the wonderful couple (the owners) served an outstanding dinner and breakfast. Truly, everything was perfect. Impeccable taste. Above all,

It felt like a villa in the South of France or Southern Italy, providing a world of relaxation and healing. Breakfast included croissants, baguettes, butter, jam, fruits, and plenty of coffee, all exquisite, allowing me to enjoy a perfect time while listening to classical musi

Surrounded by nature, the starry sky seen from the barrel sauna was beautiful. All of the staff were kind, and it was truly relaxing. It was my first time trying wood-splitting, and I really enjoyed it. Coco, the resident dog, was so adorable that I didn’t want to leave (haha). I’ll definitely be back!!! Thank you very much.

One of the few high-quality accommodations in Shikoku. It preserves tradition, adds an artistic essence, and combines a warm, homely atmosphere. Thank you for welcoming us to such a wonderful residence. With heartfelt gratitude, we look forward to visiting again.

This was our first stay for 2 nights and 3 days—thank you for taking such great care of us. As it is limited to one group per building, the Room was spacious and comfortable. On the first day, we had sushi. A sushi kaiseki prepared just for us right in front of our eyes. Every piece was crafted with great care, and chatting with the chef made it an incredibly luxurious time. On the second day, we enjoyed kaiseki cuisine. The chef personally brought each dish to us, and talking about the depth of the料理 while enjoying drinks made it a truly special time. The owner’s wife was also very friendly and wonderful, making these 2 nights and 3 days truly meaningful. We will definitely come back again in a different season.

I booked this place to cook the fish I caught, but a phone call two days before my stay confirmed that there was no gas stove or cooking equipment like in the photos—only a few dishes. In the end I didn’t go fishing, so I ate out instead. It’s close to the downtown area but on a quiet street, which was nice. The place was very clean and had a washing machine (no detergent), an indoor drying rack and hangers, plus a refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave, an internet-connected TV, and Wi‑Fi—more than enough. It would be even better if what’s provided were clearer in advance. I didn’t mind the bedspread style much either. With four beds and two futon sets, it seems great for a larger group to hang out together.
