In April 2020, the "Hatsune Premium" rooms with private open-air Onsen baths were opened. Inspired by the "Hatsune Drum" featured in the kabuki play "Yoshitsune Senbon Zakura," these rooms offer a serene space with a modern Japanese aesthetic and a view unique to Kotohira.

This historic Property, dating back to the late Edo period, is conveniently located in the center of the temple town, ideal for visitors. From the rooftop open-air bath, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mount Konpira with its seasonal beauty, the temple town of Kotohira, and the Sanuki Plain. The Onsen with bicarbonate-rich mineral water is said to be beneficial for gout and skincare. The spacious 70-square-meter Room features a cypress wood bathtub with a scenic view and an adjoining dining room. With our in-Room dining Plan, you can savor seasonal dishes made from fresh ingredients while enjoying a modern Japanese-style bath experience in your private space.
