"Misaka no Ie" is a small Property restored and revitalized by the NPO Kurashiki Machiya Trust as the first machiya restoration project. With financial support from many supporters, as well as assistance from members, local residents, and volunteers, it was completed in November of Heisei 19. Kurashiki Ivy Square is a complex tourist Facility that combines a Hotel and cultural Facility, created by preserving and reusing as much as possible the exterior and trees of the original factory of the Kurashiki Spinning Mill (now Kurabo) from the Meiji era.
