The first Hotel in Japan to join Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). The highest level of comfort! They promptly accommodated a sudden Room change and provided wonderfully courteous service. Thank you very much. The same attendant as last time assisted us again, and everyone was delighted with the consistently excellent service. The Hotel’s atmosphere and the staff are always polite and kind—truly outstanding! We will definitely stay again.

This is an excellent Hotel in every respect—Room cleanliness, staff hospitality, delicious meals, and amenities such as towels and slippers. The location is also great, and my daughter always looks forward to visiting the Familia flagship store. You won’t have any trouble finding dinner options nearby. It has become our regular Accommodation whenever we stay in Kobe.

The Onsen water quality is my absolute favorite. There are various temperatures, and I especially appreciate the lukewarm options since that’s what I like. After bathing, my circulation improves so much that I keep sweating until the next day, and even my lower back pain eases for a while—I truly love it. My favorite thing about the Room is the seaside view. I most of all cherish the healing time of simply gazing at it without thinking about anything. And as for the dinner buffet, it’s honestly by far the best No. 1 among all the buffets I’ve tried around Japan—I’m genuinely overwhelmed with gratitude. Everyone is kind, and I was finally able to meet at the front desk someone I’d been emailing with for five years—I almost cried. I’ll be back. Thank you for the happiness. P.S. As always, everything was beautifully kept—especially how spotless and clean the restrooms are.

We stayed overnight to celebrate our grandchild’s birthday. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and the bathroom—especially the shower curtain—was spotless, making our stay very comfortable. Breakfast lived up to its reputation, with a wide variety of dishes you don’t see at other hotels. They also used vegetables grown locally in Kobe, which was a big plus. And the juices—these days many places use machines, but not here. There were many drink options, and since I couldn’t resist, I tried small amounts of several kinds. There were also plenty of side dishes, and I ended up eating too much. The staff’s thoughtful hospitality was wonderful as well, and we would love to stay here again.

I stay here for about three nights around the same time every year, and the Hotel’s sincere hospitality never changes. They respond quickly even to minor issues, and their courteous service remains a consistent highlight. The well-rounded breakfast is another constant, as is the afternoon drink service—I'm impressed that they maintain such a high level of hospitality. I sometimes read Reviews of other hotels saying, “It wasn’t like this before,” but this Hotel never leaves me with that kind of disappointment. Overall, you can really feel the quality of this Hotel. It has everything that makes me want to choose it again for my next stay in Kobe.

I stayed here every time I traveled to Kobe on business. The location, room, and service are among the best of any Hotel in this area. At my last check-in, a staff member kindly spoke to me, which truly moved me. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

The Room was spacious, thoroughly cleaned, and pleasantly spotless. It was great to be able to use the large public bath at the Hotel, and I appreciated that the in-room shower was a Mirable—it was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were polite, and their smiles were wonderful. Although it was a last-minute stay, I was able to relax comfortably and was very satisfied. Ikuta Shrine is right next door, and it’s close to both Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station, so I think it’s also ideal for sightseeing in Kobe.

I visited for a retreat to rest my body and mind during the hot season. The clean Room and the ocean views and night scenery from the spacious deck were wonderful. The food and drinks in the lounge were also delicious, and before I knew it, it was already 1:00 PM checkout. I relaxed to the fullest and truly enjoyed my stay.

This year, we returned to Kobe Kitano Hotel for the first time in 15 years to celebrate our eldest daughter’s birthday after she started her new job. As expected of one of Japan’s leading auberges, the food was far better than at many Michelin-starred restaurants overseas. It was my first time trying bread baked in a traditional rice-cooking pot, and the pike conger siphon consommé was truly moving. Even after eating and drinking so much, I still felt great—proof of this wonderfully light “water-based” French cuisine. Being able to go straight to bed afterward is the ultimate luxury. Since it’s right in the city, we enjoyed strolling around, taking a bath, resting, and then heading out again. It became a truly wonderful trip. Thank you very much.

I was shown to a Room larger than expected. Since I planned to work remotely in the Hotel, the large desk was a huge help! Also, I really enjoyed the complimentary tea, coffee, and black tea in the lobby. I also appreciated being able to borrow bath salts and a rubber duck. It was very comfortable, and I’d love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you!

I was visiting Kobe and looking for a reasonably priced place to stay when I found this Accommodation. The spa and sauna—especially the Finland-certified sauna—were excellent. The food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. I’ve stayed here more than once, and I’ll continue to use it whenever I go to Sannomiya, or even when I visit Kyoto. It’s a favorite of mine.

I stayed at this Hotel the night before to catch the bus from Sannomiya to Awaji Island. The area in front of the station was under construction, so I had to take a detour, but it was conveniently located near the station and close to the bus stop. The building next door was also under construction, but it wasn’t an issue. There is a book lounge, which I was very happy about as a book-lounge fan. (I only found out after staying.) Drinks and two kinds of snacks were available free of charge. I didn’t use it, but there was also a sweets time, with local donuts served. Despite how it looks from the outside, it was a comfortable Hotel.

This was my first stay here. Because it’s a little away from the busy area, the surroundings were quiet. Still, it was very convenient—about a 5-minute walk to Sannomiya Station. Arriving by car was a bit confusing due to one-way streets (haha). The Hotel parking lot was full, but I was able to park at a nearby flat parking lot right away, which was also convenient. The Hotel and its Facility were very clean. The Room was clean as well. Two things stood out: there was heavy limescale around the sink overflow, and since it’s right in sight, it felt disappointing. When I tried rubbing it lightly, it came off easily (haha), so I hope this can be addressed. The other issue was that when I lifted the bed runner, I found several short white hairs. Hair is surprisingly noticeable, and I think many guests would be concerned too—not just me. This Hotel also has a large public bath. Since I went for a morning run, being able to use the bath afterward felt great. One more thing: the Room TV shows how crowded the public bath is supposed to be, but in the morning it displayed “crowded.” I hesitated but decided to go anyway—and no one was there. It didn’t seem to be real-time information. I’ve mentioned several points, but overall I think this is a very good Hotel. If I visit Kobe again, I’d like to stay here again.

Whenever I travel to Kobe on business, I always stay here. As a small suggestion to make the stay even more comfortable, I noticed a little dust in the elevator and near the bottom of the guest room door, so I would appreciate it if you could check these areas during cleaning. I am very satisfied with the staff’s polite service and responses, as well as the large public bath. I always enjoy a pleasant stay here. I would definitely like to stay here again on my next business trip to Kobe. Thank you for your continued support.

As a thank-you gift to relatives who have helped us, we treated them to a stay. They came back and told our family it was a wonderful Hotel. We chose a Room on the ocean side with a night view, thinking the kids would enjoy it. The children were happy, but the parents were absolutely amazed. The night view at Hotel Okura Kobe is outstanding—you can lose track of time just watching it.\n\nAnd breakfast: Okura’s breakfast is delicious across the board. The kids proudly told us they lined up twice for omelets! They even explained exactly what fillings they requested, their eyes sparkling.\n\nWe’re so glad we gifted them a stay at Hotel Okura Kobe. Thank you very much.

I always stay here on business trips. Even when it’s busy, the staff guide me smoothly, and my stay is very comfortable. The amenities are well stocked, and the Room is spacious, making it easy to relax. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Kobe.

The check-in time was during the dark hours, but the area was well-lit and had pedestrians, making it safe to walk. There is a convenience store next door, so you can shop even after placing your luggage in your Room. I would like to use this place again next time.

Perhaps because we stayed on the Sunday after the Obon holidays, the price was very reasonable. It was close to the station, and the Room had a large sofa, so we could relax and enjoy our stay. If I had to mention one issue—partly because we hadn’t properly completed our Check Reservation—our booking was listed as one male and one female instead of two females. We informed staff at check-in, but the loungewear prepared in the Room remained set for a male and a female. Even if it wasn’t needed, I would have appreciated it being checked. (Since we didn’t notice until bath time, my daughter slept in her clothes for the next day.)

The Room was clean and felt more spacious than it looked in the photos. Both the property and the Room were stylish, and having a foldable makeup mirror in the Room was very helpful. Everything was well maintained and spotless. All of the housekeeping staff we passed in the hallway greeted us, which created a very pleasant atmosphere. I wish we had used the café as well, so I’d like to do so on our next stay.

This time I used the municipal subway, and the Hotel was very convenient as it is located just outside the exit. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so I had no trouble finding anything I needed. Considering the price, it was understandable, but I was disappointed that there were no women’s amenities such as makeup remover, and I felt that the bathroom and toilet were small.
