[Opening November 5, 2024] "Hotel Utano Kyoto Villa" is located just a short drive from the famous sightseeing spots of Kyoto, including Arashiyama, the World Heritage Sites of Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, and Ninna-ji, as well as the scenic Kinukake-no-Michi walking path. With only 10 guest rooms, each featuring a private Onsen bath, our accommodations include options such as Narutaki Main Building showcasing traditional Shoin-zukuri and Sukiya-style architecture; an Art Deco-inspired Western-style building; and rooms that blend warm Japanese aesthetics with contemporary Western design. Meals are served in a dining area overlooking a Japanese garden. Enjoy dishes crafted with fresh seafood from Awaji Island alongside carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto and surrounding regions. Opened in 2021. Located in a prime location, about a 2-minute walk from JR "Nijo" Station and within walking distance to Nijo Castle. Direct access to the Arashiyama area by JR and to "Higashiyama" Station, lined with temples and shrines, from Subway "Nijo" Station without transfers. On the first floor of the Hotel, the "CANVAS Lounge" offers complimentary coffee and tea for staying guests, a social space where guests can sometimes work, sometimes play, and connect with hotel staff and locals. Together with the large public bath and gym, we offer a "FUN," "LOCAL," and "CONNECT" stay unique to CANVAS.

You can choose from two Rooms: "Mibu Doudan" and "Mibu Momiji." Maximum capacity is 6 guests, and up to 2 medium-sized dogs are allowed. Please present proof of rabies vaccination and general vaccination at check-in. One free parking space is available per Room. Parking space dimensions: "Mibu Doudan" 190cm x 500cm, "Mibu Momiji" 240cm x 500cm. The pet cage dimensions are 76cm in depth, 161cm in width, and 70cm in height. This Kyomachiya, originally built in the late Meiji era as a Nishijin-ori merchant house, has been renovated into a "home" to be passed on to the future. "Kyoto no Ondokoro Nishijin Villa," which accommodates up to 8 guests, offers a spacious and elegant atmosphere. It is also ideal for a leisurely long-term stay. Additionally, the Property features a private garage for two cars on-site. Located just 200 meters north of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nijo Castle, "Suzuki Premium Nijo Castle North" is a traditional Kyoto townhouse over 90 years old. The first floor has been renovated into a stylish and spacious area, featuring an open and extraordinary atmosphere with a bathroom and washroom facing the deck. The second floor showcases exposed beams and roof structures, preserving original elements such as alcoves, transoms, and earthen walls that create a space full of character. You can choose between two Rooms: "Nishijin Kita Hagi" and "Nishijin Kita Ajisai." "Nishijin Kita Hagi" accommodates up to 5 guests, and "Nishijin Kita Ajisai" accommodates up to 6 guests. Both Rooms allow up to 2 medium-sized dogs. Please present proof of rabies vaccination and general vaccination at check-in. One free parking space is available for each Room. The parking space dimensions are 240cm x 540cm for "Nishijin Kita Hagi" and 200cm x 450cm for "Nishijin Kita Ajisai." The pet cage dimensions are as follows: For "Nishijin Kita Hagi" - Depth 76cm, Width 161cm, Height 70cm. For "Nishijin Kita Ajisai" - Depth 58cm, Width 96cm, Height 60cm. A small part of the courtyard has been designated as a dog area, and a foot-washing station is conveniently located near the entrance. A Kyoto Machiya where you can stay with your dog or cat, "Ichijo Karin." Accommodation is available for up to 4 guests. This is the only Property under Rakuryuan where cats are also allowed. Dogs (up to 2 medium-sized) and cats (up to 2) are welcome to stay. You can also stay with one dog and one cat. The size of the pet cage is 58cm in depth, 115cm in width, and 60cm in height. For stays with cats, we provide a cat tower, scratching post, cat litter, and a dedicated toilet. One parking space is available for free. The size is 200cm x 500cm. The Property is filled with the charm of a Kyoto Machiya, featuring glass shoji screens that have been cherished for years, beautifully grained coffered ceilings, impressive large beams, uniquely shaped kamoi, and the slightly steep stairs characteristic of Kyoto Machiya, which cannot be replicated even if newly built.
