A 3-minute walk from Mibu-dera Temple in Kyoto, associated with the Shinsengumi. This is a whole rental Property renovated from a traditional Kyoto townhouse (Kyo-machiya) built in the early Showa period. The living room, with large windows facing the tsuboniwa (small garden), seamlessly connects to the wooden deck space of the outer veranda, creating a sense of unity between the inside and outside of the building. The Property features a bathroom facing the tsuboniwa on two sides, a kitchen for self-catering, a Japanese-style room, and two bedrooms each with a double bed. Located in a quiet residential area north of the World Heritage Site "Nijo Castle," the exterior of the building exudes the charm of a traditional Kyoto townhouse, with latticework, noren curtains, and bamboo blinds. Upon opening the entrance, you are greeted by an old-fashioned earthen floor. The interior is also carefully designed, featuring furniture that recreates old pillars and a traditional Japanese hearth, and a cypress-paneled bathroom with a ceramic bathtub.
