[Opening November 5, 2024] Hotel Utano Kyoto Bessho is located just a short drive from Kyoto’s top sights, including Arashiyama and the UNESCO World Heritage sites Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, and Ninna-ji, as well as the Kinukake-no-Michi walking route. With only 10 guestrooms, every room features a private Onsen bath. Choose from the Narutaki Main Building showcasing classic Shoin-zukuri and Sukiya-style design, an Art Deco–inspired Western-style building, or guestrooms that blend Japanese warmth with contemporary Western design.\n\nDine while overlooking the Japanese garden, where we serve a diverse selection of dishes centered on Japanese cuisine yet not limited to any single category—featuring seafood from Awaji Island (known as Miketsukuni) along with carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto and surrounding regions.\n\nEnjoy a spacious setting of approximately 1,000 tsubo (about 3,300 m²) and a Japanese garden recreated in the style designed and supervised by renowned landscape designer Mirei Shigemori.
