Jukaitei is a small Accommodation limited to 8 groups per day, perched on a hill in Taiza, a fishing town in Tango. Watch the large sun quietly and slowly sink beyond the long, endless horizon. A place to spend beautifully, in this land of Amino, where Shizuka Gozen, the daughter of Isozenji, a renowned Shirabyoshi of her time, was born and wept over her poignant farewell with Minamoto no Yoshitsune. In 2023, we opened new detached special suites featuring a private sauna and an open-air bath. In summer 2025, our main-building Japanese-Western rooms will also be renovated. With open-air baths at the main-building large public bath, a panoramic bath on the top floor of the West Wing, and 28 rooms (out of 44) offering in-room open-air baths—plus 6 ocean-view guest rooms with Onsen baths—you can fully enjoy private bathing. We promise you a relaxing, luxurious stay for adults.We take pride in our 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water from our own source—never diluted—and delivered directly from the spring.Dinner highlights seasonal flavors along with the signature touches of “Kaikatei Hana Gozen.” For both dinner and breakfast, we use no pre-made items; everything is carefully prepared by our skilled chefs. A private Accommodation of four detached villas nestled by Kyoto Prefecture’s largest lake, Riko. Each room features a scenic-view bath filled with natural Onsen water; the lakeside villas overlook Riko, while the special suites offer views of a Japanese garden. Operated directly by a seafood wholesaler, we serve generous dishes featuring fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan in spring, summer, and autumn, and in winter you can savor live crab carefully selected by experts. We also aim to promote a new form of universal tourism through collaboration with local healthcare providers and on-site staff who have completed advanced lifesaving training.
