Amino Station × Flower-Viewing AccommodationHighly rated for customer service and hospitality at Hotel·Ryokan

Just looking out at the lake from our Room made me feel truly happy. Everything in the Hotel, starting with the Room, was so comfortable that I was really glad we chose to stay here. The portions were very generous and a bit too much for me, but both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Thank you very much. This is an Accommodation I definitely want to visit again. Next time, I’m planning to come by car with my husband, and I’m already looking forward to it. (I also loved the wonderful bath in our Room, but I wanted to see the Onsen building as well; I’m very sorry for the trouble caused regarding the lockers.)

We stayed here on a trip as a couple in our sixties. We take overnight trips about twice every three months, and this was the best value for money we’ve found. The diesel trains on the Sanin Line stood out against the calm early-autumn countryside—it felt like looking at a painting.\nThe room was spacious and well kept, and the meals were simply outstanding. Next time, we’re thinking of coming back in summer and combining it with a beach visit!

Winter crab, early-summer white squid, and the salt-kiln-grilled abalone we always request as an optional add-on. At Waraku, you can enjoy seasonal delicacies throughout the year, but this time we tried their limited-time wild tiger pufferfish course for the first time, available only around Golden Week. We were truly impressed by the depth of Yuhigaura’s seafood. The beautifully presented sashimi platter (tessa) had a pleasantly chewy texture and was so delicious it ranks No. 1 among all the meals we’ve had at accommodations! The grilled milt was also exceptionally large, plump, and rich—perfect with Waraku’s own-label Junmai Daiginjo sake. And in this season especially, the private garden by the detached guest room feels at its most beautiful, with blooming flowers and vivid green moss. Whenever we’re worn out from everyday life and want to relax and feel restored, we always visit Waraku to Clear our minds.

Thank you for taking such wonderful care of us as we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We truly appreciated your kind help and advice, and it became a great memory for us. This inn was filled with thoughtful hospitality, starting with welcome fruit and drinks, and so many little touches throughout our stay. The meals were very satisfying—not only the classic sashimi and simmered dishes, but also creative cuisine—and we left completely full. Breakfast was so plentiful it felt like dinner! In particular, the homemade “stretchy yogurt” (a name I came up with!) had a texture I’d never experienced before and was delicious. The in-room hot spring was very relaxing, and we also enjoyed the large public bath—watching the beautiful sunset while unwinding was wonderful. All of the staff worked efficiently with warm smiles; it really is a lovely place to stay. Next time, we’d love to visit during crab season.
