Our accommodation was originally a chirimen weaving factory, which we transformed ourselves into a budget-friendly accommodation. We welcome not only domestic guests but also backpackers from all over the world, creating opportunities for travelers to enjoy unique and serendipitous encounters. Our accommodation is small, with only 4 rooms available. Room types include traditional Japanese-style private rooms and Western-style private rooms with beds. We have spacious shared areas equipped with manga and picture books for your enjoyment. Additionally, we provide a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, futons and sheets, as well as air conditioning for your convenience. We aim to offer you a stay that feels just like home.
About a 2.5-hour drive from central Osaka and Kyoto, Lake Hanareko—the largest freshwater lake in Kyoto Prefecture—lies in the Tango area, where beautiful yet unspoiled scenery remains, close to Ine’s Funaya boat houses and Amanohashidate. “HOTEL & Kotei Soka” is a small Hotel on its shore that celebrated its grand opening in May 2024.
