An accommodation with 1250 years of history offers a relaxing time for your mind and body. Kizu Onsen, the oldest onsen in Kyoto, features 100% natural spring water directly from its private source. The mildly alkaline water is gentle on the skin, making it safe for everyone from babies to seniors. Additionally, we offer a private bath called "Gonsuke no Yu," praised as "the best in Japan" by an onsen professor. Our new room type "MANYO" provides views of serene rice fields and bamboo groves. Our accommodation was originally a chirimen weaving factory, which we transformed ourselves into a budget-friendly accommodation. We welcome not only domestic guests but also backpackers from all over the world, creating opportunities for travelers to enjoy unique and serendipitous encounters. Our accommodation is small, with only 4 rooms available. Room types include traditional Japanese-style private rooms and Western-style private rooms with beds. We have spacious shared areas equipped with manga and picture books for your enjoyment. Additionally, we provide a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, futons and sheets, as well as air conditioning for your convenience. We aim to offer you a stay that feels just like home.
