Monjuso Shourotei is a charming single-story wooden accommodation nestled on a small cape, surrounded by aged trees behind the Wisdom Monju-do Hall. “Wine & Accommodation Chitose” was reborn in 2000 as an Onsen Accommodation where you can enjoy wine, following the renovation of the long-established Ryokan “Chitose Ryokan,” which has welcomed guests since the mid-Edo period. As the owner is a winemaker, our cellar houses 20,000 bottles—especially from France’s Burgundy region. Our cuisine features local ingredients from Tango whenever possible, highlighting their natural flavors while pairing beautifully with wine.
