Maizuru City, located 1.5 hours by train or car from Kyoto City. Just a 10-minute walk from Nishi-Maizuru Station. While situated in the city, it is tucked away from the main national road, offering a quiet and peaceful town atmosphere. We serve traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine, featuring fresh fish from the Sea of Japan and Wakasa Bay. Maizuru is renowned for its delicious and fresh seafood. In spring, you can enjoy delicacies such as isaza, Tango torigai, and rock oysters, while in winter, the town is blessed with ingredients like Matsuba crab, yellowtail, oysters, and Spanish mackerel.Our Ryokan, established in 1902, is quite old but perfect for those who wish to relax on tatami mats. Unfortunately, Maizuru does not have Onsen, so our baths use heated water. Additionally, the baths are small, as they have remained unchanged since the Ryokan's founding in 1902.Our accommodation Plans mainly focus on seafood, but we also offer Plans that include Japanese wagyu beef.
We operate as a Property with a homely atmosphere where you can feel free to stay. The Room you will be staying in is a Japanese-style Room. Although our Property is located in the city area, it is surrounded only by residential houses, and we have a spacious garden, allowing you to experience the "tranquility" that can only be felt in a Japanese-style Room. The meals we provide are not made with luxurious ingredients or elaborate recipes. We prepare homely dishes centered around fresh fish from Maizuru. Please enjoy the fresh fish of Maizuru. This guesthouse is a renovated traditional house that is 80 years old. The first floor features a shared space with a large island kitchen, providing a place for guests to gather around the dining table and interact. It is also recommended for large groups, such as training camps.
A long-established butcher shop and residence has been renovated into a Hotel with a restaurant on the first floor. Enjoy a relaxing time in a private room with a semi-double bed.
