With this in mind, we have named our establishment "Kyoto Arashiyama Onsen Kaden-sho." We strive daily to provide our guests with moments of joy and inspiration.

Yunohana Onsen, a hot spring that wells up in Kyoto’s secluded inner retreat, the ancient capital of a thousand years. This historic renowned Onsen is said to have been visited by Akechi Mitsuhide during the Warring States period to heal sword wounds. Here, a quietly nestled 13-room hidden Accommodation, “Kyo YUNOHANA RESORT Suisen,” has been born.

[Opening November 5, 2024] Hotel Utano Kyoto Bessho is located just a short drive from Kyoto’s top sights, including Arashiyama and the UNESCO World Heritage sites Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji, and Ninna-ji, as well as the Kinukake-no-Michi walking route. With only 10 guestrooms, every room features a private Onsen bath. Choose from the Narutaki Main Building showcasing classic Shoin-zukuri and Sukiya-style design, an Art Deco–inspired Western-style building, or guestrooms that blend Japanese warmth with contemporary Western design.\n\nDine while overlooking the Japanese garden, where we serve a diverse selection of dishes centered on Japanese cuisine yet not limited to any single category—featuring seafood from Awaji Island (known as Miketsukuni) along with carefully selected ingredients from Kyoto and surrounding regions.\n\nEnjoy a spacious setting of approximately 1,000 tsubo (about 3,300 m²) and a Japanese garden recreated in the style designed and supervised by renowned landscape designer Mirei Shigemori. "6ishiki" is a private rental accommodation, renovated from a 100-year-old traditional Japanese house, located in a quiet residential area of a serene basin surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges. At 6ishiki, we value "time to reflect on oneself." The tranquil and profound atmosphere of the traditional house naturally calms the mind and turns your focus inward. The private sauna offers an unparalleled sense of comfort, allowing you to relax both body and mind in an exclusive space with no one else around. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just 12 minutes by rapid train from JR Kyoto Station and a 1-minute walk from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. The interior, designed with universal design principles, offers a relaxing space, and the rooms are equipped with premium Simmons beds for a high-quality sleep experience. Additionally, we provide unique Kyoto and Arashiyama menu items such as handmade tofu and fresh folate-rich eggs from Kyoto Tanba. Our establishment is located on the site of Sumikura Ryo-i's residence, featuring historical artifacts such as a garden attributed to Kobori Enshu and a Yukimi lantern crafted by Tsuji Yojirou, embodying the unique charm of Kyoto.
