Mizuguchi Station × Highly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

This stay was for visiting someone in the hospital, but there were supermarkets and a movie theater nearby, so we were able to spend our free time comfortably. At the Hotel, we also made use of the complimentary drinks and massage chairs. I didn’t use it myself, but the two men said the large public bath for men was great and seemed very satisfied. We also appreciated that breakfast was included.

I stayed here on a business trip, and it was a very comfortable Hotel with well-stocked amenities and a spacious, relaxing bath. The front desk staff were courteous, and with shopping centers nearby, it’s convenient for dining and shopping as well, so I think it’s a great location. I also have an upcoming long-term business trip, and if I can make a Reservation then, I would definitely like to stay here again.

I stayed in a room with an Airweave mattress and had a great night's sleep. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning offered a wide variety of delicious options.

The price is reasonable, there is parking available, the Room is clean, and even light snacks are included—great value for money. I think it’s a very good option for solo travelers. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

This was my first time staying here. The front desk staff kindly explained everything, so I felt at ease throughout my stay. The amenities were well stocked, which was great. Inside the container house, it does shake a bit if you move around too much, which I noticed, but otherwise it was surprisingly quiet and I was able to relax. Having light snacks available was also very helpful. I would love to stay again in the future. Thank you for your hospitality.

I’ve stayed at container hotels before, but this was my first time experiencing one where everything from check-in onward is fully self-service. Some parts are a bit hard to understand, but overall I think it’s good. What I personally liked was having a mini kitchen and a washing machine inside the Room. Also, like other container hotels, there’s a microwave in the Room as well, so you don’t have to keep going out of your Room and there’s no waiting your turn (especially great for business trips). What bothered me was that I couldn’t find a replacement bath mat, so I wasn’t able to change it during my Multiple Night Stay. Also, the kitchen faucet is positioned too close to the front edge, so if you’re not careful when using it, water can splash onto your clothes or feet. In addition, vibrations from the outdoor unit of the air conditioner resonated quite a bit inside the Room and felt slightly unpleasant. Despite these complaints, I’m very satisfied overall because with container hotels you can park close by and there’s no waiting for elevators—so it feels much like staying at home.

Although it’s a love hotel, it was affordable and gave me a relaxing, carefree time. You can really feel the effort to satisfy guests in many ways. I became a member, and next time I’ll book directly. The late-night noise from the room-service cart was acceptable to me overall.

The Room, toilets, and large public bath are all very clean, making for a comfortable stay. The bed is a bit small, but I had no issues like feeling cold or having back pain, and I slept soundly. What really stands out is that the shared areas such as the hall have many bookshelves filled mainly with manga, which you can pick up and read anytime. They have an extensive selection ranging from nostalgic Showa-era Shonen Jump volumes to popular manga that have recently been adapted into anime, so if you enjoy bookstores or libraries, you’ll likely love this space. It seems to be run by a friendly couple, and I’d like to come again.

I stayed for three nights during the Golden Week holidays while visiting Shigaraki. The amenities were well stocked, and I had a very comfortable stay. The Hotel staff were friendly and approachable, and I’d like to stay at this Hotel again next time. Thank you very much for the three nights.

The Room was kept clean, and I had a comfortable stay. There were power outlets near the bed and desk, but there were no USB ports, so I would have liked at least one. I also wish the Room lighting had adjustable brightness; it was either on or off, so it was completely dark when sleeping. Breakfast was included and tasty, but I would have liked a bit more variety. The price was reasonable, so I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed at R9 The Yard in Chiba Prefecture a few years ago and found it very comfortable, so this time I made a Reservation in Gamou Hino, Shiga Prefecture for work. The front desk staff were friendly and provided kind, courteous service, which I really appreciated. There was free coffee and tea available at the front desk, and I was also surprised by the light meal service. The bento I chose from several options was very delicious. I’m sorry—I received a light meal ticket but forgot to use it. The Room was cleaned as thoroughly as a typical Business Hotel, and the bed was very comfortable, helping me recover from work fatigue. The Accommodation Fee felt almost too low—I’m sorry about that. I’d like to stay again when I visit Shiga. Although this was a business trip, it also felt like traveling, and I’m truly grateful. Thank you very much.

The location is far from the station, so it is inconvenient without a car. There is also a community bus, but services are infrequent and the route is a bit hard to understand. The Hotel seems old, but the interior was kept clean. Personally, I was very happy that there was a large public bath. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed here with my 4th-grade son. He isn’t very comfortable with older buildings, so I wondered if he might not like it, but while it was still light out he enjoyed going up to the second floor and exploring the Room. At night, though, it was windy, and when the glass in the sliding door facing outside rattled he said, “I’m scared and can’t sleep,” and I wasn’t sure what to do... In the end he managed to fall asleep, and by morning he said, “I want to stay here again.” We relaxed until close to checkout at 10:00. It was a fun and memorable experience in many ways.
