On-site station × Highly rated facilities at Hotel·Ryokan

I visited again for the first time in about four years. Every area was thoroughly cleaned, and the Room was exceptionally spotless. For example, even the glass on the glass-fronted dish cabinet in the Room was shining—of course, so were the glasses. The mirrors, glass doors, and even the stainless-steel toilet paper holder in the restroom were gleaming, without a single fingerprint. Every large public bath was immaculate as well. All of the food was made with incredibly fresh ingredients—I’m amazed at how they managed to source everything. The staff were modest yet wonderfully pleasant; just being here makes me happy. Katsuragi Kitano-maru is a space that goes beyond “the best.”

I stayed here on my way to Shizuoka. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. It was a non-smoking twin room, and the beds were spacious and the room felt clean. There were restaurants nearby, so I ate there, but it seems there is also a restaurant within the Facility. I also appreciated the welcome drink.

I requested breakfast on the morning of my stay, and they kindly accommodated me (sorry for the sudden request!). It was an affordable 500 yen per person, and the staff were very kind and attentive. I’d love to stay here again!

It was our first time glamping, and we really enjoyed it! The BBQ was great because the ingredients were provided and there was no cleanup to do. The open-air bath, the cool tent, and the fireworks we did for an additional fee were also wonderful and made us feel like kids again. However, there was no air conditioning in the shower room or toilets, so it was a bit hot for this season. When we turned on the lights, lots of bugs swarmed in and it felt pretty unpleasant, but thinking of it as part of camping helped us appreciate being close to nature. We were bothered by how loud some other guests were, but that’s just bad luck. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!
