It is through living amidst the vibrant hues of nature, such as flowers, the sea, and birds, that today's Japanese culture, admired worldwide, has been cultivated. We, too, wish to convey the charm of the colors that breathe life into Shizuoka and Mochimune, and pass them on to the next generation. With this aspiration, we have opened the traditional Japanese-style Hotel "日本色 NIHON IRO," offering a serene and tranquil retreat. Here, you will find a space uniquely yours, themed around the gentle colors of traditional Japan.

A small accommodation run by a chef, nestled in the rich nature of Shizuoka's Oku-Shizu. The concept is "a breakfast you'll want to brag about." Enjoy a supreme breakfast made with Shizuoka-sourced ingredients and a full-course French dinner served in your room. From the renovated traditional house rooms, you can admire breathtaking satoyama scenery. The No Meals Included Plan allows for self-catering with a full kitchen or BBQ around an open fire. Meals feature creative dishes made with fresh vegetables and fruits directly sourced from local producers, along with the abundant blessings of Shizuoka's mountains and seas. Enjoy these delicacies paired with our carefully crafted, homegrown tea from our tea farm. Each Room is equipped with a natural cypress bath that exudes the warmth of wood. The bath uses pure mountain water sourced from the headwaters of the Aizawa River, offering a smooth and gentle texture for your skin. Surrounded by nature in this forest Hotel, guided by breezes through the trees and embraced by the gentle power of the woods, take a moment to escape daily life and immerse yourself in relaxation while feeling at one with nature.
