With time, a bathhouse was built to warm days of therapeutic bathing, and today this inn has expanded the pleasures of hot-spring touring for travelers. A refined sukiya-style retreat nestled along a lush, verdant gorge. All buildings, including the guest rooms, face the Matsukawa Gorge—spring and summer bring fresh greenery to this “Accommodation in the gorge.” In autumn, it becomes a “healing hot spring” floating amid crimson mountains, and in winter, a “moment of tranquility” wrapped in white.
