For 200 years since its founding, Yorozuya has been cherished by generations of guests.With an Onsen flow rate of 253 liters per minute—the largest in Yudanaka Onsen—and three private hot spring sources, it offers an exceptional bathing experience. Among them, the grand bathhouse “Momoyama Bath” is a registered Tangible Cultural Property, featuring a magnificent all-wood temple-style structure. Later, the Onsen-ji Temple was established through the contributions of the Sengoku warlord Takeda Shingen. During the battles of Kawanakajima, Shibu Onsen served as a healing place for wounded soldiers. The first proprietor of Kokuya, Ichizaemon, originally ran a rice merchant business called Kokuya but later opened an inn for travelers. Since then, the Property has been cherished by guests, and the current proprietor is the 16th generation.
