Opened on September 2, 2007. Named “Masuichi Kyakuden” from the owner’s wish: “We would have loved to welcome you into our own home…”. Designed by architect John Morford—who also designed “Kurabu” and the main store of Masuichi Ichimura Sake Brewery—this Accommodation is his vision of where he would want to stay when visiting Obuse. Centered around three earthen storehouses relocated from a long-established sugar wholesaler in Nagano, it comprises seven wooden buildings, with interiors fully furnished in Western style.

The hotel, located at the foot of Shiga Kogen, is convenient as a base for sightseeing to Zenkoji, Obuse, and Matsushiro. Renowned for its Onsen sourced from the famous Hoshikawa Onsen, it offers abundant water with a soft texture that is highly praised. Rooms range from 10 to 18 tatami mats, including special rooms with excellent views. Guests can enjoy karaoke for free. Choose your favorite dishes from the Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet.

Meals are prepared daily, and children's meals are available for toddlers. Rooms range from 6 to 18 tatami mats and are equipped with a bidet toilet, washbasin, safe, TV, and telephone. Yudanaka Onsen Yasuragi-kan offers the enjoyment of the natural flow of hot spring water from Asayo Onsen. You can indulge in the ancient-style baths, featuring a fragrant cypress bath and a tile-constructed bath, as well as the Ryugu Bath, which boasts a spacious and open atmosphere with large windows. The 22-tatami spacious Room allows for a comfortable stay even for large groups. Additionally, the men's and women's baths switch after dinner and breakfast, allowing you to enjoy both styles. We take great care to prepare the seasonal flavors of Shinshu in the most delicious way possible.
