I stayed one night in a Single Room. It was close to the station, the Room was clean, and the bathtub was large, so I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also delicious.

It’s an older Hotel, but it’s quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast selection is so extensive that you can’t try everything in just one night. Everything was delicious. Sausages are easy to judge by taste, and these were definitely excellent. The Senbonmatsu Farm milk was also delicious.

About a 20-minute walk from Utsunomiya Station. There are no convenience stores nearby, so it’s best to buy what you need in advance. The complimentary late-night curry service (until 8:30 PM) was very helpful. The Hotel vending machines are very reasonably priced. There is a clean public bath that can fit about five people, but it is for men only. The Room TV even supports YouTube and smartphone mirroring. I was traveling alone, but the twin Room was spacious. Breakfast isn’t luxurious, but it offers a well-balanced selection—from Japanese side dishes to bread, coffee, and juice. A Hotel with excellent value for money.

All the staff, the meals, and the welcome drink service were truly wonderful. Because the bath is time-slot based, it was marked as crowded the whole time. Even after waiting until the last possible minute, the crowded sign never disappeared, so I decided to go anyway. However, there are only a few washing stations, and when someone was waiting behind me I felt rushed and couldn’t relax. If it’s like this on a weekday, I wonder if it gets even more crowded on weekends or holidays?
