Hakone Nanase (formerly Mana-tei Hakone) was established in July 2012 in Miyanoshita, Hakone. Bansuiro Fukuzumi is a historic Onsen accommodation in Hakone Yumoto, established in 1625 during the Kan'ei era, with its own private hot spring source. During the late Edo to Meiji periods, it hosted notable figures such as the 15th Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Yukichi Fukuzawa, Hirobumi Ito, and Takamori Saigo. In 2002, it became the first active Ryokan to be designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan.
