Nishi-sen 11-jō Station × Stays Popular For Snow-View BathsHighly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

The female staff’s hospitality was wonderful—on par with the Imperial Hotel Tokyo. Of course, the male staff on the night shift were great as well. One morning, I couldn’t decide between the 30-minute scrub course and the 60-minute scrub course. Even though it looked like I might go past the 11:00 check-out time, they handled it wonderfully. When I visit Sapporo again, I’d like to stay at Jasmac Hotel. It has a bit of a Showa-era feel, but it’s charming and atmospheric. It made me want to support them. Next time, I’d also like to try the dining area inside the bath facility, as I’ve heard the food is delicious. During my stay, thanks to the excellent service from the front desk staff, I was able to enjoy a comfortable two-night, three-day stay.

Although it is compact, it is conveniently located in central Sapporo, close to live music venues and Odori Park. The large public bath is open until 1:00 a.m., so you don’t have to rush back to the hotel, which is another great point. Breakfast also offers plenty of Hokkaido flavors. It’s one of my favorite hotels.

1. I would be happy if the breakfast price were a little lower. I’d like to take my time and enjoy everything, but mornings are busy, and sometimes I’m not feeling well, so I can’t eat enough to feel it’s worth the cost. 2. Also regarding breakfast: I wanted to drink Japanese tea but couldn’t find it, so I asked a staff member. The reply was rather curt: “The drinks (including tea bags) are only here and over there (such as juices).” Could you please provide Japanese tea bags? 3. About the changing area by the bath: some guests don’t dry themselves properly after bathing, and puddles form in front of the lockers. This isn’t very hygienic, so I hope you can add measures to encourage drying off or use flooring that prevents puddles from forming. Overall, it’s a good Hotel—please keep improving even further.
