In 2020, we became the first Hotel in the world to receive the “WELL Certification (v1),” awarded to buildings that prioritize environmental and health considerations. Our features include a green wall in the courtyard that replicates Kyoto’s vegetation and designs made with natural materials. We also offer a variety of activities such as yoga and meditation. Since our opening, we have aimed for a “sustainable, non-disposable society” by encouraging guests to bring their own toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and razors instead of providing them in guest rooms.
