Suzu Hotel Niohmon is a Hotel with 14 Rooms, located about a 5-minute walk from the subway "Higashiyama Station" and near the popular Okazaki area, a Kyoto sightseeing spot where the Lake Biwa Canal flows. The Lake Biwa Canal, constructed during the Meiji era, brought development and vitality to Kyoto at the time and remains an active industrial heritage today. Our Hotel is designed with the concept of the Lake Biwa Canal, creating a modern Japanese-style space that evokes the flow of water through its colors and patterns. Additionally, the carpets in the hallways on each floor are inspired by the Keage Incline, which played a role alongside the Lake Biwa Canal. Please enjoy these carefully crafted design elements. KYOBU Chawan-zaka is located at the entrance of Chawan-zaka, where kilns of Kiyomizu-yaki, a representative of traditional Kyo-yaki crafts, are lined up, and it faces the World Heritage Site Kiyomizu Temple. The property features works by Kiyomizu-yaki ceramic artist Yuichi Inokai, a collection of Kyo-yaki tableware, a large ceramic bathtub in the bathroom, and from the staircase window, you can view Higiri Jizo, a symbol of the local faith of the Kiyomizu area, allowing you to enjoy Kyoto through both sight and touch.

A 5-minute walk east along Sanjo Street from Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Subway Line or the Jingu-michi bus stop. Kyoto Ryokan Zen is located in a quiet residential area. The building, constructed during the mid-Meiji and Taisho periods, features the Gion townhouse style, preserving the traditional charm of old Japan. It has been renovated to enhance comfort while maintaining its original form and ambiance. After the war, Nobel Prize-winning author Yasunari Kawabata visited Jugiya and remarked, "This is a quintessential Kyoto home." Today, Jugiya still retains the atmosphere of that time.
