Genji Kyoto is a boutique Hotel quietly situated along the Kamo River, which flows through the heart of Kyoto. With excellent access to historical landmarks, every Room is equipped with a tatami relaxation space and spacious beds for your comfort. The name "Genji Kyoto" is derived from the Rokujoin, featured in "The Tale of Genji," and the Kawarain, the villa of Minamoto no Toru, said to be its model. Enjoy an all-day dining experience in the lobby with a courtyard inspired by "The Tale of Genji." The Facility features a Kyoto-inspired atmosphere, with lattice design on the exterior and a warm wooden feel at the front desk. Each guest room is equipped with Simmons mattresses, Airweave pillows, and amenities comparable to those of a luxury Hotel, ensuring a comfortable and high-quality sleep. All rooms have separate bathrooms and individual air conditioning, allowing you to relax and unwind from your travels. From the Facility, it is a 5-minute walk to Keihan Railway's "Shichijo" Station, which provides direct access to Fushimi Inari Taisha with its iconic red torii gates, the bustling Gion area, and Yasaka Shrine.
