Chihayaguchi Station × Highly rated Hotel·Ryokan

The all-inclusive plan made us feel at ease. The meals were just the right portion size, which was perfect for us as seniors. The Hotel staff were excellent, and everything was a convenient, comfortable size to use. However, it was a bit disappointing that there was only one karaoke room.

We stayed here to visit Mount Koya. The meals were delicious, and desserts and drinks were all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. The bath water was soft, and everything was excellent.

Both the quality and quantity were excellent, and we truly enjoyed a delicious dinner. We were especially impressed to be served grilled sweetfish with salt, which we never expected. Thank you very much.

Four of us women stayed in the Room called “Yomoyama.” As a corner Room, it had great views, and we loved the lush garden and the spacious Japanese-style Room set up as a summer tatami sitting area. Every attendant provided wonderful service, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Dinner was thoughtfully prepared, and we enjoyed every dish. From 8:00 p.m., we took a walk in the garden to watch fireflies; since the weather was good, we saw many of them. It was a great trip where we could feel the charm of Japan in this historic and wonderful building.

Every year on New Year's Day, our family would go on a one-night trip for a little luxury, but the hotel we always used was fully booked (it’s hard to get two rooms), so we gave up. However, we were able to make a reservation at this hotel, which was very helpful. It’s close to home, and both the meals and facilities were more satisfying for me than the hotel we used last year. I’d like to use it again next year.

Locals say the food is delicious, so they use the large banquet hall for parties. After enjoying the Onsen and having breakfast, I was satisfied. It tends to be used more by men. Tea is placed in the hallway rather than in the Room.
