Fuse Station × Highly-rated Hotel·Ryokan - 5Page Number

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. We especially wanted a quiet room on a high floor, and the hotel met our expectations. The only drawback was that we were hit by heavy rain during our stay. Since our room was right next to the balcony, condensation and water droplets formed on the door due to temperature changes, and I almost slipped several times when entering the room. The neighboring room felt a bit damp, but the mattress was comfortable and we slept well for several nights. There was a coffee machine on the first floor, and cereal and milk were available during the day. From the NHK Building across the street, Basement Level 2 connects directly to Oasis 21 Bus Stop No. 21 and the subway station. It is very convenient for walking through the underground mall to Sakae’s main shopping district.

I was glad that the toilet and bath were separate. I also appreciated being moved to the ladies’ room. I had a comfortable stay.

I stayed for one night. From the moment I arrived, the staff at the reception counter made me feel very welcome and at ease. I was able to take only the amenities I needed, which was efficient and convenient. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection—I ended up eating more than I planned. It was close to the station, so getting around anywhere was easy. It made for a very satisfying trip. I’d love to stay again if I have the chance.

We stayed here as a family of three during the summer holidays. I often visit the Chunichi Building, and the 7th-floor restaurants and observation terrace have long been favorite spots, so I wanted to stay at the Hotel as well. The view from the front desk was wonderful—you can overlook Sakae and even see as far as Nagoya. Depending on the Room, you may get that same view, but our Room faced the opposite side, with views toward landmarks such as Higashiyama Tower. Even so, it was still a great view and we enjoyed it fully. As it is a new Hotel, we were very satisfied with both the design and comfort. The Room and bathroom were spacious, allowing us to relax comfortably. We also appreciated how crafts showcasing artisan techniques from the Tokai and Hokuriku regions were incorporated throughout. In particular, I love Arimatsu shibori dyeing, so I was happy to see it used for items such as cushion covers in both the front desk area and our Room. My husband used the bar and said it was great. We felt this is an Accommodation we could confidently recommend to international guests as well. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed for two nights to attend a live concert. It was really helpful that the property is close to the station, since getting around on tired feet can be tough! All the amenities were available in the lobby, which was reassuring, and the Room was clean and comfortable. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance.

The lounge was more affordable than expected, yet the quality was excellent—I really enjoyed it. It’s also conveniently located with easy access from Meieki Station, so I’d like to stay here again.

Despite its name, this is a very ordinary Hotel. Since there is no staff at the front desk, it may be a good choice for guests who prefer minimal interaction. The services are neither particularly good nor bad. The biggest advantage of this Hotel is that you can stay at a low price despite its convenient location.

I stay at this accommodation almost every month. The location is quite convenient, though it's near the entrance of Nishiki-San district, and above all, it's very affordable. Mineral water service started at the end of May. Cleaning might be challenging due to staff shortages, but this time, the bottom of the unit bath was extremely slippery, possibly from soap residue. This has never happened before...

I could tell the room interior had been renovated. However, there were only two proper hooks for hanging clothes, and the protruding metal fittings felt a bit unsafe. The bathroom unit was very small—perhaps to increase capacity in recent years—and it felt even smaller than the renovated bathroom units at Toyoko Inn.

I stayed for four nights to take a graduate school entrance exam. The Room was simple and compact, very clean, and amenities (except toothbrushes) were available at the front desk in a pick-and-choose system with a wide variety. The mouthwash was especially useful. My Room had no bathtub—shower only—but it was sufficient for the season. The sink had an island-style layout, which made the limited space feel more open. The bathroom area and the bed could be separated by a curtain, which was convenient when changing clothes. Also, the Hotel front desk staff were kind and very helpful—I truly appreciated their support. Breakfast was more substantial than I expected for this price. I saw many international guests as well. The location is great: close to the station, with a convenience store right in front. It’s easy to see why it’s fully booked—excellent value for money. This is a Hotel I’d like to use again. On the day of my exam, the Higashiyama Line stopped running, but I was able to get there via the Meijo Line. It seems that students staying near the Higashiyama Line didn’t make it in time for the start of the exam. Thanks to staying in Sakae, I was able to avoid that problem.

I usually can’t sleep on trips and had resigned myself to that, but the choice of pillows was so good that I slept soundly every night! The welcome drink was also great. I was impressed that you can check how crowded breakfast is on the TV screen. The staff were cheerful and professional, which made my stay very comfortable. My only regret is that I wish I had stayed at this Accommodation for my entire trip.

It was conveniently located near the station. Breakfast was available, and I think I had a comfortable stay.

The service and facilities felt appropriate for the price. I had no particular complaints, but there was nothing that especially impressed me either.

I stayed on a weekday in late August. The Accommodation was clean and well maintained, and the staff were excellent. Amenities were available behind the reception counter for guests to choose freely, with a great variety. It felt like there were many options for women—in a good way! The welcome drink was really helpful on hot summer days, and it was delicious. It’s close to Sakae Subway Station, and since there’s hardly any nightlife nearby, it’s nice that there aren’t any drunk people around. As mentioned in the title, breakfast didn’t include any Japanese dishes for me—there were bread, salad, and curry. I personally prefer Japanese food, so I thought it would be nice if there were a few more Japanese-style options. The boiled eggs were nicely salted and tasty. Even so, everything was delicious overall. Thank you for the meal.

- Price paid: up to JPY 9,000 - Room (how spacious it feels during the stay): The bed is large and the room size is sufficient, but the desk area is a bit tight and may be inconvenient if you have large luggage. There are not many places to hang clothes, so it could be inconvenient in winter. The bed-making was not great. - In-room bath: There is a bathtub and it’s reasonably spacious. It was well cleaned. - Public bath: None - Amenities: You pick up what you need at the front desk, including toothbrushes. Shaving gel is also available, which was nice. - Wi-Fi: Fairly stable with good speed. - TV: Standard; no issues. - Refrigerator: Standard single-person size. - Slippers: Not disposable, but disposable covers are available at the front desk for those who prefer them. - Loungewear: One-piece type. - Air conditioning: Centrally controlled; you can only choose Low/Medium/High, so it may not suit those who want fine adjustments. - Breakfast: Adequate if you keep expectations modest, but there were no meat dishes and no items like furikake or nori, so it may not suit those who want a hearty breakfast. If breakfast is important to you, it may be safer to skip this option. - Front desk: Standard check-in; no problems at all. - Overall review: Due to the age of the building, signs of wear are noticeable throughout—such as stains or marks in the room. However, cleaning is thorough and I was able to stay comfortably without issues. For up to JPY 9,000, it seems reasonable value overall.

The Room was quiet and comfortable. This Hotel is very convenient, located close to the station.

I use this place every year for sumo and baseball games. Although the distance to the subway station is a bit far, the affordable price and convenient access to Vantelin Dome and IG Arena are greatly appreciated. The lounge is enjoyable, but it's a bit disappointing that only "Umaibo" snacks are available now.

Stayed for a concert in Nagoya. The accommodation was relatively close to the station, making it convenient. The pillows and mattress suited my body well, allowing me to sleep soundly—it turned out they were Tempur and Simmons. Although the facility was slightly old, it was well-cleaned, and the room was spacious enough to stay comfortably.

I couldn’t find the hotel from Sakae Station and ended up calling. I managed to arrive and check in! The front desk staff said, “I’m glad you made it,” which made me happy. Even though I only stayed for a few hours, I felt at ease.

All the front desk staff were cheerful and wonderful! The Hotel and the room were clean and hygienic, so I felt comfortable staying there. If I have another opportunity, I would like to stay at APA Hotel again.
