We stayed in a sunny corner Room with a great view, and thanks to the nice weather we had a wonderfully refreshing time. The night view was perfect as well. The meals were outstanding—we enjoyed fresh duck and boar with no odor at all, delicately seasoned and elegant in flavor. Breakfast also came with many small side dishes, so satisfying that you’ll want seconds of rice; I recommend the plan with both dinner and breakfast included. It seems to be an older building, but once inside it is kept very clean, with no dustiness at all. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The proprietress was also very kind, and I would love to see her again. If you’re sightseeing around Nara Station it may feel a bit far, but the area around this Ryokan offers wonderful views from Mt. Ikoma and lets you enjoy a different side of Nara’s scenery, so I highly recommend it.

Fruits and bread were provided, allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Above all, the handwritten message added a warm and personal touch. This was my first time using this accommodation. I didn't know it was a public accommodation. The dinner was very delicious. Located in a residential area, it's perfect for sightseeing in Nara. Previously, I stayed at a business hotel, but next time I will use this accommodation again. The room's water facilities were clean, and the bedding was also spotless. The entire facility seemed well-maintained and clean. I thought all the staff members, including the restaurant staff, were wonderful. There was an adorable origami deer in the room with a message that I took home as a keepsake. It added one more great memory to my trip. Thank you very much!

We stayed with our 2-year-old child. As I was pregnant, we chose this Hotel because it seemed conveniently located near Nara Park, and we booked a stay with meals included. Dinner was delicious and so generous that we couldn’t finish it. For our 2-year-old, they brought plain rice and furikake first, which made it easy to feed our child. Breakfast was a bit lighter and didn’t quite leave us completely full, but if you plan to eat while sightseeing, it felt just right. It may be a little too light for men. The complimentary water was very helpful. However, it was a large bottle (1.5L? 2L?), so we finished it at the Hotel. There is a 700-yen parking subsidy. Parking near the Hotel often costs over 1,000 yen, but we found a parking lot a little farther away where we could park for 700 yen and used that instead. The Hotel itself is somewhat old, but it was kept very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful.

The price is affordable, so I understand, but I was a bit disappointed that there was no bidet. I stayed in the city because I wanted to drink a large beer at my favorite shop and didn't feel like going home. Sarusawa Pond is very close, making it perfect for a pleasant walk. The hotel staff were friendly, and I would love to stay here again.

It felt like renting an apartment. It was great that, in addition to futons and towels, there was also a hair dryer, a hair iron, various appliances, and even dishes. We didn’t have a baby with us, but there was a baby crib and other items, so I think it’s also suitable for families with small children. The station is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are plenty of supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. Since everything is well equipped, I felt it’s ideal for longer stays.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the Facility and the staff’s service to the breakfast. One minor issue: a few long hairs were stuck to the bathroom ceiling. I assume they became airborne while drying and remained there.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.

The staff are kind. The floors are spotless and shiny. The Room has large windows, and the greenery by the pond is soothing.

Pros: Great location for sightseeing, free parking, spacious Room, the air conditioning was turned on to match our check-in time, clean bathroom, and the steel-framed windows looked stylish. Cons: The light switches were hard to find, the refrigerator didn’t cool very well, the check-in process was confusing, and the bed was on the firm side. We could hear voices and snoring from other Rooms, but once we fell asleep it didn’t bother us. Since we brought bicycles, it wasn’t an issue that the convenience store was a bit far. It had a different vibe from a typical Hotel—fresh and comfortable to stay in.
