Both the town and the Accommodation were pleasantly quiet. Rather than a place to “enjoy the Accommodation,” it felt like a place where, through your stay, you become part of Nara. If you’re looking for an Accommodation for sightseeing in Nara, the location is convenient, so I’d like to stay here again next time. There’s nothing particularly notable about the amenities, but there was neither shortage nor excess, which I think is good.

It’s a small Accommodation, but it had everything we needed, and we were satisfied. It was kept clean, and we were able to stay comfortably.

Thank you for providing excellent service. The house was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, which made our stay very satisfying. Fruits and bread were provided, allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Above all, the handwritten message added a warm and personal touch. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

The room was spacious enough for a single room, and I was happy to find a large sofa. The shower had strong water pressure, making it very comfortable to use. Having a kettle and humidifier provided was also helpful. The amenities were standard, but I think women would appreciate having items like lotion or moisturizer available. There was some loud noise at night that caught my attention, but it wasn't disruptive enough to prevent sleep. I had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the building. The hospitality from the hostess and staff left a positive impression of this accommodation as an excellent choice. I would love to stay here again!

Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the Facility and the staff’s service to the breakfast. One minor issue: a few long hairs were stuck to the bathroom ceiling. I assume they became airborne while drying and remained there.

It was a shared shower room rather than a bath, but since it was midsummer, it was comfortable. In winter, I might prefer to soak in a bathtub. The bedroom felt like a secret hideout, which I liked—though people who dislike small spaces might not. I stayed for three nights and had no inconveniences.

The Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I wish I had been able to prepare in advance with a better understanding of the Room’s layout and amenities.\nI’d like to stay here again if I visit Nara.

Both the front entrance key and the Room key are electronic locks, so I was able to complete everything from check-in to check-out without face-to-face contact, making my stay very comfortable—just like being at home. All the essentials were provided, and I appreciated the great value for money. Since it’s a loft, I think this Accommodation is ideal for guests who don’t mind going up and down stairs.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. I stayed here while visiting the real-life locations from the anime “Sound! Euphonium.” ・Access Just a few minutes on foot from either JR Uji Station or Keihan Uji Station. Right after passing through the large torii gate from Uji Bridge. It’s also close to Byodo-in Temple (Phoenix Hall)—an excellent location. ・Plan Only No Meals Included, but there are several convenience stores within walking distance near the stations. Even closer (about a 2-minute walk) is a supermarket (Shokuhinkan Apro). On the 1st floor below the Accommodation (on the 3rd and 4th floors), there is a diner popular with Kyoto Animation fans. (*The 2nd floor is a mahjong parlor.) ・Room A room that used to be a 4-person dormitory (shared room) before COVID is now used as a private Room. ・Facility The Room has basic amenities such as a toothbrush and large towel, plus a window air conditioner, mini fridge, fan, air circulator, hair dryer, water dispenser (it takes some technique and finger strength to dispense hot water), instant coffee, lockers, sofa, vanity mirror/dressing table, and plenty of outlets. Wi‑Fi available. A microwave is available in the shared space. No kitchen. Shared toilet/shower (bathtub not available). Shampoo/conditioner/body soap provided. Coin-operated washing machine available. No elevator. ・Curfew You will be given a key, so you can come and go freely at night. The owner does not stay on-site overnight. ・Notes This Accommodation is not a Hotel; it’s an affordable guesthouse for backpackers (also comparable to a small inn or private lodging). If you are very sensitive about cleanliness, uncomfortable with shared toilets/showers, unable to communicate at least minimally with other guests or the owner, or cannot carry your suitcase without an elevator, I recommend choosing a business hotel near the station instead. The owner is an ex-backpacker and very friendly; if he isn’t busy with activities like his study group/classroom projects, he’ll chat with you and offer travel advice. Depending on timing and conditions, he may even be able to show you Euphonium locations in his tuk-tuk (a three-wheeled motor taxi commonly used in Southeast Asia). If you want more of an authentic local experience rather than just another business hotel stay near the station, I recommend this Accommodation.

The price is affordable, so I understand, but I was a bit disappointed that there was no bidet. I stayed in the city because I wanted to drink a large beer at my favorite shop and didn't feel like going home. Sarusawa Pond is very close, making it perfect for a pleasant walk. The hotel staff were friendly, and I would love to stay here again.

The phone service was excellent, so I looked forward to my stay. The front desk service was also good, and the room was very clean and comfortable. I went to the Genji no Yu bath.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.
