Both the town and the Accommodation were pleasantly quiet. Rather than a place to “enjoy the Accommodation,” it felt like a place where, through your stay, you become part of Nara. If you’re looking for an Accommodation for sightseeing in Nara, the location is convenient, so I’d like to stay here again next time. There’s nothing particularly notable about the amenities, but there was neither shortage nor excess, which I think is good.

We stayed in a sunny corner Room with a great view, and thanks to the nice weather we had a wonderfully refreshing time. The night view was perfect as well. The meals were outstanding—we enjoyed fresh duck and boar with no odor at all, delicately seasoned and elegant in flavor. Breakfast also came with many small side dishes, so satisfying that you’ll want seconds of rice; I recommend the plan with both dinner and breakfast included. It seems to be an older building, but once inside it is kept very clean, with no dustiness at all. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The proprietress was also very kind, and I would love to see her again. If you’re sightseeing around Nara Station it may feel a bit far, but the area around this Ryokan offers wonderful views from Mt. Ikoma and lets you enjoy a different side of Nara’s scenery, so I highly recommend it.

It was a shared shower room rather than a bath, but since it was midsummer, it was comfortable. In winter, I might prefer to soak in a bathtub. The bedroom felt like a secret hideout, which I liked—though people who dislike small spaces might not. I stayed for three nights and had no inconveniences.

We stayed as a family of four, and the location was great—less than a 10-minute walk from Byodo-in Temple, with views of the gently flowing river. The owner was friendly and pleasant. The bath is shared, but since there are only two groups, it didn’t seem to be an issue. Along the nearby approach road there are tea shops lined up, and there are a reasonable number of places to eat dinner in the area. Above all, the price is very affordable. There is no parking at the Accommodation, but there is a coin-operated parking lot right next door. Since it has a maximum daily rate, even if you park in the evening and leave it until the next morning while visiting Byodo-in Temple, it won’t reach 2,000 yen.

I used this accommodation for work and travel in Kyoto (with my family of four). Since accommodations in Kyoto city were expensive, we decided to stay here as we were traveling by car. It takes about 30-40 minutes from Kyoto city, and there is an onsen facility nearby, along with restaurants and supermarkets, which was convenient. The hotel facilities were clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The parking lot was also large and convenient. Breakfast was great as well. I think I will choose this place again next time. Thank you for providing excellent service. The house was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped, which made our stay very satisfying. Fruits and bread were provided, allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Above all, the handwritten message added a warm and personal touch. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

It’s a small Accommodation, but it had everything we needed, and we were satisfied. It was kept clean, and we were able to stay comfortably.

The staff are kind. The floors are spotless and shiny. The Room has large windows, and the greenery by the pond is soothing.

We stayed as a family of five, including three children! The Room has a toilet, shower room, and electric kettle. We stayed in a second-floor Room, and right after going down the stairs there was a shared kitchen with a microwave, toaster, rice cooker, and more. There was also a dispenser where we could easily get water, tea, and coffee. There is a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is available too! If I had to ask for one thing, it would have been nice to have a TV.

Everything was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the Facility and the staff’s service to the breakfast. One minor issue: a few long hairs were stuck to the bathroom ceiling. I assume they became airborne while drying and remained there.

We stayed with our 2-year-old child. As I was pregnant, we chose this Hotel because it seemed conveniently located near Nara Park, and we booked a stay with meals included. Dinner was delicious and so generous that we couldn’t finish it. For our 2-year-old, they brought plain rice and furikake first, which made it easy to feed our child. Breakfast was a bit lighter and didn’t quite leave us completely full, but if you plan to eat while sightseeing, it felt just right. It may be a little too light for men. The complimentary water was very helpful. However, it was a large bottle (1.5L? 2L?), so we finished it at the Hotel. There is a 700-yen parking subsidy. Parking near the Hotel often costs over 1,000 yen, but we found a parking lot a little farther away where we could park for 700 yen and used that instead. The Hotel itself is somewhat old, but it was kept very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful.

The room was spacious enough for a single room, and I was happy to find a large sofa. The shower had strong water pressure, making it very comfortable to use. Having a kettle and humidifier provided was also helpful. The amenities were standard, but I think women would appreciate having items like lotion or moisturizer available. There was some loud noise at night that caught my attention, but it wasn't disruptive enough to prevent sleep. I had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the building. The hospitality from the hostess and staff left a positive impression of this accommodation as an excellent choice. I would love to stay here again!

Although it’s very close to Kintetsu Nara Station, it’s not noisy, and the location is convenient both for an early-morning walk in Nara Park and for going to Naramachi for dinner.\nHowever, I was a bit bothered by a musky scent—perhaps lingering from the previous guest.\nOther than that, the Room was spacious and very clean, so I would like to stay again.

Pros: Great location for sightseeing, free parking, spacious Room, the air conditioning was turned on to match our check-in time, clean bathroom, and the steel-framed windows looked stylish. Cons: The light switches were hard to find, the refrigerator didn’t cool very well, the check-in process was confusing, and the bed was on the firm side. We could hear voices and snoring from other Rooms, but once we fell asleep it didn’t bother us. Since we brought bicycles, it wasn’t an issue that the convenience store was a bit far. It had a different vibe from a typical Hotel—fresh and comfortable to stay in.

We stayed here during the Obon holidays—this was our second visit. Last time we stayed in Building 1, and this time in Building 2. It was very stylish, and the living room was spacious, so we were able to relax with our dog. On the day, we brought our own ingredients for a BBQ and asked them to handle all the setup, which made it comfortable and enjoyable to dine. It was quiet at night, so we slept well and had a great morning. For breakfast, since it was our second stay, they upgraded it for us; everything—from the bread to the butter—was carefully selected and absolutely delicious. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned down to every corner, giving a great sense of cleanliness and making our stay very comfortable. We would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance. We stayed as a family of three. Since it was just us, we could relax without worrying about others, and the bath was so spacious that even stretching out my legs left plenty of room—it really helped us unwind. Even with our luggage spread out, it didn’t feel cramped at all. Having a washer-dryer was also very helpful.

Although it was a No Meals Included stay, we stayed for two nights as a parent and child on the Standard Japanese-Style Room Plan. It is located on a hill with great views. The Japanese-style room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. However, the only downside was that we couldn’t adjust the shower temperature well in the bathroom—it would sometimes get too hot or too lukewarm. Perhaps because there were few guests, it was very quiet from night until morning, and we were able to relax. The parking lot was also large and easy to use. If we have a chance to stay in the Ikoma area again, we would like to try it with meals included next time. Thank you very much.

The price is affordable, so I understand, but I was a bit disappointed that there was no bidet. I stayed in the city because I wanted to drink a large beer at my favorite shop and didn't feel like going home. Sarusawa Pond is very close, making it perfect for a pleasant walk. The hotel staff were friendly, and I would love to stay here again.
