Located at the western edge of "Nara Park," one of Japan's most renowned scenic spots surrounded by World Heritage sites such as Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Kofuku-ji Temple, and Todai-ji Temple, the Hotel stands in a place known worldwide as the birthplace of Japanese culture. The Hotel features 43 guest rooms (23 of which include private Onsen baths or open-air baths) designed with interiors that harmonize with nature, offering a refined atmosphere that reflects the traditions of Nara. The main building of the Hotel, a renovated "Nara Prefectural Governor's Residence" originally built in the Taisho era, houses a restaurant where you can fully experience the terroir and culinary history of Nara, as well as a sushi bar utilizing a traditional storehouse. Additionally, the Hotel's grounds include a Japanese garden where you can enjoy the beauty of each season, providing Facilities that ensure a seamless travel experience.

A truly special suite with only two rooms, located on the 3rd floor of the Arist Building, about a 4-minute walk from JR Nara Station. Both suites offer a spacious 63 m² layout and feature an open-air hinoki cypress bath on the terrace. Enjoy a soak at any time, morning or night, while gazing out at a small courtyard garden with bamboo fencing, stone lanterns, and fresh green maple leaves. Nara Ryokan’s original herbal bath “Keigen-yu” gently envelops you in the soothing aroma of traditional botanicals, easing away travel fatigue. A private whole-house Accommodation nestled in the quiet Kitamachi area on the north side of Naramachi, just a short walk from the UNESCO World Heritage site Todai-ji Temple. Inspired by Nara’s legendary sacred deer, “Manashika,” the interior features deer motifs, kumiko woodwork, and carved transom panels throughout.On the courtyard wood deck, you’ll find “Manashika-no-Yu,” an open-air Shigaraki-ware bath. Breathe in the scent of hinoki cypress and feel Nara’s open sky as you gently unwind. With 188 m² of total floor space, 4 bedrooms, and 8 beds, this Accommodation can host up to 16 guests. These sukiya-style spaces come with private baths. ■ Rokumei Sanso (Annex) Each Room features an open-air bath or semi-open-air bath, along with access to a private lounge. Indulge in a luxurious experience. ■ West Wing Classic Japanese hospitality. This building is the closest to the large communal bath. From the windows of your Room, you can enjoy the greenery of Nara Park. You may even hear the gentle calls of the deer.

Our Hotel boasts a total of 17 types of Onsen, including our proud natural Onsen "Kyobijin no Yu," as well as 6 types of stone saunas, a Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant with a dessert counter bar, a recliner room equipped with over 8,000 manga books, a fitness gym, relaxation facilities, a haircut salon, and a body scrub service. For guests staying with us, the Onsen and recliner room are available continuously from 6:00 AM on the check-in day until 5:00 PM the following day, allowing you to enjoy a total of 35 hours of relaxation.
