Tomino-so Station × Nearby StaysHighly rated for dining at Hotel·Ryokan

I stayed for one night, but I couldn't relax and enjoy the facilities. Next time, I would like to plan my schedule so that I can spend a whole day in the hotel. Since I couldn't use the facilities this time, I gave it three stars.

We stayed during Silver Week. Check-in went smoothly with no issues, and the Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was also helpful that we could use the Hotel’s paid parking lot by applying in advance.

We arrived a little early, so we were able to use the parking lot earlier and received thorough guidance to the tourist spots. On our way back, we consulted with the morning staff about taking the train instead of driving long distances because it was snowing at the next tourist

The Room was clean and conveniently located near the station, making it easy to get around.

I was a little worried because there were no Reviews, but the VR experience convinced me to make a Reservation. The secretary explained the exhibits and more, so it was fun in a way that’s more than just looking around. My husband absolutely loved the VR, and thank you for letting him try it twice. Even after we got home, he kept saying, “It was amazing. I want to go again” (lol). The meal was also very delicious, and everything we were served—like roasted green tea and matcha—was wonderful! The attention to detail is incredible in the best way. I had great conversations with the secretary and the female staff, and we were able to spend a truly lovely time. I’d love to stay again when we visit Kyoto next time.

We stayed as a family of four, and the location was great—less than a 10-minute walk from Byodo-in Temple, with views of the gently flowing river. The owner was friendly and pleasant. The bath is shared, but since there are only two groups, it didn’t seem to be an issue. Along the nearby approach road there are tea shops lined up, and there are a reasonable number of places to eat dinner in the area. Above all, the price is very affordable. There is no parking at the Accommodation, but there is a coin-operated parking lot right next door. Since it has a maximum daily rate, even if you park in the evening and leave it until the next morning while visiting Byodo-in Temple, it won’t reach 2,000 yen.

Both the Hotel and the Room were clean and well maintained. Although my stay was No Meals Included, it was very comfortable.
