I was filled with happiness to finally be able to stay in the Room I had been curious about for so long. It was an extremely hot day, and I arrived drenched in sweat, but I truly appreciated that you expedited the check-in process. The thoughtful touches that let us enjoy fragrances in the Room, the many artworks displayed throughout the Hotel, and the delicious breakfast were all wonderful—it was a thoroughly satisfying stay.

The Room was spacious and very convenient to use. The breakfast and the large public bath were excellent. Thank you.

I made a Reservation for a single Room and arrived about 30 minutes before check-in on the day, but the front desk staff told me the Room was ready, so I was able to check in right away and head up to my Room. Their service was excellent. When I entered, I was surprised to find a spacious twin Room. Since I had originally booked a single Room, I really appreciated being able to relax in such a roomy space. The Room, bathroom, and toilet were all very clean. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Both the Room and the large public bath were clean and well maintained throughout the property, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of Japanese and Western dishes as well as desserts, and we were very satisfied. There was also Shuttle Service to and from Kyoto Station, so we didn’t feel any inconvenience in terms of access. It exceeded the price, and we were extremely satisfied.

I stayed here during Silver Week, and the Room was clean. I could also use the bath until 1:00 a.m., so overall I was very satisfied. If I had to mention anything, it would be that there is no parking, and personally I would have liked grilled salmon and natto for breakfast.

As the building is only two years old, both the interior and exterior are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was satisfying, and the staff service was also good. However, many guests monopolize the lockers, which suggests an issue with guest manners. I think clearer notices and reminders should be provided. This was seen among some Japanese guests as well, which is disappointing.

This is my second stay. I truly appreciate the free cancellation until 10:00 a.m. on the day of arrival. Due to personal circumstances, there’s always a chance I may suddenly be unable to stay, so I have to be very careful when making a Hotel Reservation... But with this policy, I can plan my trip with peace of mind. I hope you can continue offering it without attracting irresponsible last-minute cancellations. Even if I ever have to cancel, I will definitely stay again next time. This time as well, although it was in the annex building, it was quiet and I was able to rest comfortably. Amenities are available for guests to take what they need, and the Room comes with a low pillow and a blanket. There was also deodorizing spray and a humidifier, which I really appreciated. I will stay again.

As it was my first stay, I called several times, and they always responded kindly. When I arrived, all the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I booked with breakfast, and it was excellent value for money—better than the price suggests. I would like to stay here again next time.

We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days this time. As the reviews said, I think it’s a great-value hotel. With breakfast and dinner included, plus a large public bath, we were able to fully enjoy Kyoto. If you’re particular about amenities, it’s best to bring some of your own. One difference from other hotels I’ve stayed at in Kyoto was that after getting off the elevator on the way from the front desk to the room, it felt more like an apartment-style hallway. It was warm during our stay, but as it gets colder, you’ll probably want a jacket so you don’t get chilled when stepping outside your room on the way to the public bath.

While enjoying the view overlooking the town, I sipped coffee and reflected on life. Though brief, I appreciated learning about Kyoto through the provided books. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

The view of Toji Temple from the window was absolutely stunning! It’s located very close, so I took a short walk at night to see the beautifully lit-up temple. With just one stop from Kyoto Station, the location is highly accessible. There’s also a Ministop downstairs and a 24-hour supermarket nearby, making it incredibly convenient. Additionally, the staff at reception were very polite and helpful, which I truly appreciated. I’ll definitely choose this place again when visiting Kyoto!

This was my second stay. The Hotel is set a little back from the road, so it’s hard to spot, and it was unclear whether the entrance was actually for the Hotel. I got lost on the way there with my phone in hand. However, inside the Hotel there is a free coin laundry and dryer, as well as a large public bath. The Room doesn’t have a toilet, but it’s private and I could relax, so overall it was fine. I’ll stay again because the large public bath and coin laundry were great.

I stayed here on a business trip. Having a large public bath is really great! It’s available until 1:00 a.m. Perhaps because I used it quite late at night, I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath all by myself. The Room I stayed in was spacious, and the bed was large as well, so it was very comfortable. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. However, the massage chair felt quite worn out, and it made me hesitate to use it. I was looking forward to it, so that was the only disappointment—but overall, including the staff’s service, I was very satisfied.

First time staying here. The Room was nicely cooled on arrival, so it was comfortable from the start. We stayed as a couple, but there were three sets of futons laid out, which was a mystery. The living area and bedroom are separate, and the space is more than sufficient. It’s fine for eating out or doing light cooking. There’s also a washing machine, so we could wash our clothes that day and have them dry by the next day using the bathroom dryer, which was very helpful. It was an extremely hot day, so even walking in the morning felt a bit tough, but I’m glad we could take a stroll around To-ji Temple. For breakfast we chose yuba (tofu skin). Around 8:30, they delivered a pot and IH cooktop, an ohitsu rice container, simmered dishes in small tiered boxes, and salmon. The taste and portions were just right. If breakfast could be served a little earlier, we might be able to do more before check-out. There were occasional loud noises from what seemed like the first floor (?) which startled us; it may be due to the building structure and some kind of work being done downstairs. It was a great stay—spending some time in Kyoto almost made us feel like locals.

I often stay here when traveling to Kyoto. This time, it was a Multiple Night Stay, and I would have appreciated replenishment of amenities. I would be happy if at least the toothbrush could be replaced with a new one. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and they were especially helpful when I parked my car in the parking lot.

It was helpful to be able to leave my luggage in the shared space before check-in.

Children used to living in apartments were excited about staying in a traditional Kyoto-style house. The cleanliness was well-maintained, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. Seeing Toji Temple at night and in the morning was truly wonderful.
