We stayed one night in an “Omakase Suite (with breakfast).” Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t see a beautiful sunset or sunrise, but the spacious, clean, and very comfortable bathroom (about 100 m²) made it an absolutely wonderful stay. The Hotel’s hospitality and service

We were very satisfied with the meals. Everything we had for dinner was delicious. For breakfast, you can grill freshly dried horse mackerel at your table on a tabletop stove. The eggs were cooked on a ceramic hot plate, and we could choose between fried eggs or scrambled eggs to suit our preference. You can also have refills of rice. It was very windy so we only spent about two hours at the beach, but since the large public bath is available even after check-out, you can freshen up before heading home. The facilities were also kept clean and well maintained. For those who smoke, there is a smoking room in the building. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

There is also a large public bath; it wasn’t an Onsen, but it was clean and relaxing, so we were very satisfied. All of the staff members were pleasant as well—they spoke to us naturally when needed without being intrusive—so we had a very comfortable stay. The Facility offeri

It was a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the Hotel staff. I was worried about the weather, but we were able to enjoy stargazing as planned. You also adjusted the dinner time, and I was able to relax and fully enjoy everything at a comfortable pace. Truly Aman quality. The Japanese-inspired cuisine was, of course, delicious. The excellent coffee is proof of your attention to detail. Above all, the hospitality of every staff member supported an unforgettable stay. I stopped by the thermal spring around checkout time, but the sidewalk had become so hot in the sun that it was impossible to walk on. It’s better to go after late afternoon. Next time, I’ll enjoy it with a Multiple Night Stay. Personally, I love Hawaii, and having a beer alone on the balcony at dawn is pure bliss—but coffee while looking out over Ago Bay from my Room at Amanemu surpassed even that. I’ll be back.

We used the round-trip shuttle bus from Kashikojima. Everyone at the front desk and in the dining area was kind, which made our stay very pleasant. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. In the playroom, we could enjoy board games and table tennis, so our grandchildren didn’t get bored while waiting for the return bus. Both the building and the Facility felt a bit old, but it gave us the impression that everything was thoroughly cleaned. The nearby sea at Jirokuro Coast is famous for its beautiful waters. Next time, I’d like to invite friends and enjoy a relaxing resort trip here. There were many clouds, so we couldn’t see the stars or moon clearly during nighttime stargazing. I’ll look forward to that next time as well.

We were planning an Onsen trip to celebrate my mother, and it was the first trip for three generations of our family. Since my mother cannot use the large public bath, we looked for a Room with a private open-air bath. Thanks to that, she was able to enjoy the Onsen. The bath in our Room was also fed by Onsen water, and she was very happy. We chose the standard kaiseki meal, but the portions were more than enough—so much that my sons had to give up at both dinner and breakfast. When I requested a cake for my mother’s 88th birthday celebration, they even prepared a red celebratory vest (chanchanko) for her as well, and we truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. The building was clean. The large public bath was small but spotless, and we were very satisfied. In the lobby there was a local sake tasting service, and in the morning there was also coffee service—everything felt very well provided. Our whole family was extremely satisfied. All of the staff were kind, and we had a comfortable stay. It became a wonderful celebratory trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The Onsen was wonderful. Thank you for the complimentary champagne service at dinner.

This was our first stay with three dogs. The meals and the Onsen were excellent. The Room was very clean and comfortable. Above all, the staff were kind, making this a truly warm and welcoming Accommodation. We will definitely return. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

We stayed as a family for our daughter’s birthday and had a wonderful time. We love campfires, so we were very happy that plenty of firewood was prepared. While adding logs to keep the fire going, we were able to relax and enjoy watching the flames. The dog run was spacious, and our dogs looked like they were having a great time. Since it’s on slightly higher ground and there are kites around, you can’t take your eyes off them. Because it was cold, we couldn’t stay outside for long. There is a dog-only Room connected to the living room, and it was spacious enough even for large dogs. We were a little disappointed that the bedroom is upstairs, away from the dogs. Considering hygiene, though, it’s understandable. It was difficult to set the bath temperature. The dining table has a built-in hot plate, which is a big plus because you can eat grilled food while it’s still warm. I’m not usually a fan of saunas, but I really enjoyed this one. It’s great that there is a tub outside the sauna where you can fill water or hot water. Since we visited during very cold weather with below-freezing temperatures, we didn’t use the cold plunge. Everything was very clean, and the grounds were well maintained with thorough cleaning and pruning throughout. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

The Shuttle Service driver was very kind and welcomed us with a smile, and also saw us off when we left, which felt very pleasant. We were able to relax and enjoy the entire Accommodation, the Onsen, and the meals, and we were satisfied overall. However, one of the highlights is probably the lounge, but the beer in the lounge server had run out, and even after we informed staff it wasn’t replenished promptly, which was disappointing. Other guests seemed disappointed as well. Since many guests use it during busy check-in times—and I think many people come specifically for the lounge—I would like to see some improvements from the Accommodation side, such as having one staff member stationed there during that time slot only, or if staffing is difficult, providing canned beer just for those hours.

We signed up for the sunset cruise at check-in. The beautiful sunset and the owner’s easy-to-follow stories made it a truly valuable experience. The cruise time changes depending on the sunset. Breakfast was also plentiful, with homemade dried fish and yogurt, among other items. We were completely full. It seems to be family-run, and everyone was kind and welcoming—such a warm Accommodation. Thank you very much.

From arrival at the parking lot to departure, the hospitality was outstanding. The ocean-view Room with a private semi-open-air bath was also wonderful. We were satisfied with everything, including the complimentary hot stone sauna, wine, and 11:00 check-out. They even prepared a lantern for us when we went out for a walk nearby—truly excellent service. The only slight disappointment was that the open-air bath switched between men and women, so we couldn’t use it the next day.

The room I stayed in felt outdated overall, and the three-piece unit bathroom was particularly small and inconvenient. However, everything else was clean and well-maintained. The view from the accommodation lived up to its reputation as a "scenic inn," offering stunning sunsets. A sandy beach is just a short walk away, making it ideal for swimming in summer. Guests can enjoy a private open-air bath once for free. There are two options: a cypress bath and a larger-than-usual tub bath; I recommend the tub bath for its size. Although the public bath lacked scenic views, I had it all to myself during my visit, allowing me to relax fully with plenty of space. The meals were exceptional both morning and evening—highly recommended for sashimi or seafood lovers! The spiny lobster sashimi was sweet and incredibly delicious. The next morning's spiny lobster miso soup had rich flavors from the broth and was equally delightful. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making this an accommodation I'd love to visit again!
