Soshin no Yado Oishiya, established in 1887, has been cherished by many guests over the years. In the autumn of 2001, the entire Property was newly renovated. We are deeply grateful for the continued support and patronage of our guests, which has made this possible. Oishiya has witnessed the eras of Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Heisei. Through the passage of time and the changing seasons, we strive to cherish an unchanging spirit. Located on a hill in Toba, our facility is a 15-minute walk to Toba Bay and a 30-minute drive to Ise Jingu. As a gateway to Ise Jingu, we have welcomed visitors from around the world for centuries. With only 9 rooms available per day, this Property was built by a fisherman owner who spent 20 years envisioning and personally completing the estate. As you walk along the path from the road, you’ll find yourself in a serene world where time flows differently from everyday life. At the bottom of the hill, a private beach awaits. [Dining] We use the finest ingredients from Ise-Shima without reservation, offering the best ingredients of the day. [Onsen] All rooms are equipped with open-air baths.
