This Property, located along the approach to Asuka Niimasu Shrine within the historic site of "Asuka-dera Ruins," is a renovated accommodation featuring the structure of a "rectangular four-room local-style townhouse" built in the third year of the Meiji era (over 150 years ago). The exterior and layout have been preserved as much as possible. While incorporating original fittings and antique materials from the time, the Property is equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning systems, to ensure a comfortable stay. It offers two spacious Rooms, each with a unique atmosphere, featuring a courtyard and a large Shigaraki ware bathtub. The Rooms are also stocked with a collection of rare "out-of-print historical books" and "photography and art books." The main building, a sukiya-style structure with 150 years of history, and the annex, built 70 years ago, offer a unique stay. The four limited Rooms available per day each have their own distinct charm. Preserving the essence of traditional Japanese architecture, the Rooms feature shoin-zukuri designs crafted with rare wood or renovated spaces such as a former storehouse. Guests can enjoy Onsen in a private cypress bath or an in-Room bath. For dinner, we offer Plans featuring shabu-shabu with the chef-selected premium pork "Miyabuton" or sukiyaki/shabu-shabu with Nara's renowned "Udabeef," served in your Room or a private dining room.
