Located just steps from Meitetsu Gifu Station, the Hotel is clean and well-maintained, likely because it is relatively new. The Room was spacious for a Business Hotel. However, the mattress and pillow were firm for my preference, causing discomfort in my back and head. Additionally, the thin blanket made it difficult to stay warm without increasing the air conditioning temperature. While this was disappointing for me personally, everything else about the Hotel was excellent.

Due to unexpected trouble, my check-in was significantly delayed and I was about to give up on dinner, but they kindly prepared it for me without any fuss, which was a huge help. The food was delicious and full of Gifu flavors, the Room had a wonderful traditional atmosphere, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing—everything was perfect! Next time, I’d love to stay and enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.

I considered staying in the city of Gifu, but since parking was either multi-story or affiliated, I decided on a suburban accommodation. The hotel had entrances at both the front and back, which was convenient. However, it was difficult to locate using the car's navigation system. Other than that, I had a comfortable stay in a new and pleasant environment.

I considered an Accommodation on the Nagara River because I wanted to show my daughter cormorant fishing. An Onsen Accommodation would have been nice, but we wanted a buffet-style meal, so we chose this Hotel. It was an extremely hot day, and the moment we stepped into the Hotel, the cool air revived us. As a Diamond member benefit, I was happy to receive a one-drink service in the first-floor lounge. The Room we were assigned was on a high floor with a great view, and it was spotless—truly impressive. The dinner buffet isn’t in a huge restaurant, but the quality of the dishes served was excellent, and we enjoyed everything. Drink prices were reasonable for a Hotel, and since it was before cormorant fishing, my daughter and I each enjoyed one drink. We used taxis for round-trip transportation to the cormorant fishing site, which made it very comfortable. Even though it was hot that day, there was a pleasant river breeze, and it helped us forget the daytime heat for a while. Because the river level was low, it seems they didn’t actually catch many ayu, but being able to see energetic cormorants up close made it a great experience. At breakfast, there were many inbound guests early on, but they cleared out quickly, so we were able to eat in peace. The well-known ayu rice porridge was delicious—I went back for seconds several times. The selection of dishes also reflected local flavors well, with various Gifu specialties, which I appreciated. For morning fruit there were oranges, pineapple, and lychees; I’d be happier if there were a few more options. I liked the selection at the shop as well. If I had one request, I would truly appreciate Shuttle Service from the station to the Hotel. As expected of an established Hotel with history behind it, my daughter and I enjoyed an elegant stay. A clean Hotel. The bath was excellent. The pillow was quite firm, and I couldn’t sleep. The blackout curtains were good. The shower pressure was strong and great.

The petite young lady at the front desk won me over with her smile and warm hospitality.

As last year, you kindly prepared a train-view Room as requested, and my son was absolutely delighted (he was thrilled to see the Meitetsu trains from the hallway as well). The Hotel is conveniently located near the station, and breakfast offered a good variety. Although there is no large public bath Facility, we found it comfortable and had a pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

The front desk staff welcomed me with refreshing smiles, which made me feel very comfortable. I was also satisfied with the breakfast menu—nutritiously well-balanced and deliciously prepared. This was my third stay, and I’m thinking of making this my regular Accommodation from now on.

The Hotel had a calm, modern Japanese-style atmosphere throughout. The view from the window was beautiful, overlooking the Nagara River and Gifu Castle. The scenery from the large public bath on the 8th floor was also spectacular. I really enjoyed breakfast, with fun and delicious options like comparing different types of rice and making my own furikake seasoning. For dinner, I chose in-Room dining, so I could eat at a relaxed pace. The only disappointment was that the tempura in the Shokado bento had gone cold, but that’s understandable for a boxed meal. All of the staff were polite, and I had a wonderful stay.

The hospitality and service were excellent. Both the bath and the Room were spacious, so we could relax. It would have been nice to have amenities for women. It’s close to the Nagara River, and we were able to fully enjoy hot Gifu. Both the cormorant fishing and the fireworks were wonderful. Thank you very much.

Although it was my first trip to Gifu and I arrived in the rain with a typhoon approaching, the Hotel was exactly as expected. The views between the Nagara River and Mt. Kinka—worthy of “Tenka Fubu”—along with the Onsen, meals, and wonderful hospitality were all excellent. Inside the Hotel, I even got to meet Nohime, making it an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again.

The Room was spacious, the staff were very considerate, and I was very satisfied with the price. The air conditioner was excellent as well, with no odors or anything like that. I did have to look around a bit because an outlet was hidden behind the information sheet (oops). Since it’s right next to the Meitetsu railway line, those who are sensitive to noise should be aware of this (it didn’t bother me). I missed breakfast, so I can’t comment on any of the food.

I’m a repeat guest. The location is great, and it’s excellent value to get a solid breakfast at this price. The Room is also comfortable and easy to spend time in.

It’s different from a typical Hotel, but the Room was spacious and great. I’ll use it again.

It was a Room with an open-air bath, looking up at Gifu Castle and gazing down at the gentle flow of the Nagara River. We didn’t use the rooftop open-air bath or the large public bath—the in-Room open-air bath alone was more than enough. We also got to experience cormorant fishing, which made it feel truly special. Breakfast seemed to be Japanese-style only (?), but that was absolutely the right choice—it was delicious. It made me think, “I want to live in this Room!”

The large public bath on the first floor is a highlight. Each Room has a unit bath, but I have never used it. The public bath is also available at night and in the morning. The breakfast buffet in the morning is not very good—please consider it a bonus.

On the first day of our trip, we made a last-minute Reservation when we arrived. The building may be old, but it was very clean, and we were satisfied with everything—the towels, pajamas, amenities, Wi‑Fi, location, and price. We were also glad we could book a smoking room. We walked out for dinner, and in the morning we had breakfast at the Hotel. You can choose curry or toast, and the rest is buffet-style. For this price, being able to enjoy a tasty breakfast was very satisfying. My only regret is that I chose toast. I hesitated about having curry in the morning, but I’m sure it would have been delicious. We rested well and had a great trip.

I stayed here again after a long time. As always, the courteous service made me feel at ease. The Room has been renovated, and the unit bath was very clean. It was very comfortable. The amenities are well stocked. In addition to green tea, there is also coffee and black tea. I had breakfast, and there was a good variety of dishes and everything was delicious. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future.

I have stayed here many times when returning to Gifu. Sometimes I book a Multiple Night Stay, and it is always comfortable. There are restaurants nearby, which is convenient. This time, since it was a Multiple Night Stay, thank you for responding quickly to my last-minute request. I will let you know in advance next time. I would like to continue staying here in the future.
