Kodomo no Kuni Station (Aichi Prefecture) × Highly rated Hotel·Ryokan

It was wonderful. The Ryokan always had a pleasant incense fragrance throughout the building, which helped us relax. We even bought some as souvenirs. The staff member who explained everything during our meal was very courteous, and it truly warmed our hearts. We also used the private open-air bath, and it was great to be able to spend a relaxing time with our family. This is a Ryokan we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

We stayed during the Obon holiday. The Room was spacious, the meals were delicious, and my elderly mother was very satisfied. All of the international staff were kind and played with our children.

We stayed here with four generations of our family, including our elderly parents. The Room was spacious and very relaxing. Our grandchild loved the kids’ room and played to their heart’s content. Natural Onsen baths and a wide variety of delicious dishes. It feels like a luxury Onsen Hotel from Japan’s Showa bubble era. There are older and newer wings, and from everywhere we enjoyed stunning views of the calm, rolling waves of Mikawa Bay. The lighthouse was charming and atmospheric. The many sets of Mikawa samurai armor and bridal kimono also gave us a sense of the history of Katahara Castle from the Sengoku period. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

The building is old, but it was clean and we had no inconveniences. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, so we would like to stay again.

I was looking for a Ryokan with an Onsen within two hours from home. I could enjoy the sea and the Onsen, and the meals were served as a kaiseki course rather than a buffet, so I was able to dine calmly and at a relaxed pace. All of the staff were very pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. My grandchild and daughter who came with me were also very satisfied. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

The staff were very pleasant, and overall we were very satisfied. I was a bit concerned about some dark staining around the sinks in the large public bath changing area (it seemed clean and well maintained, though). My grandchild wanted to play table tennis, but it was only available until 9:00 p.m., so we couldn’t, which was disappointing.
